Warframe. Oh yeah, not technically the same thing. Meh, close enough. Still scratches the same itch.

There isn't a better ARPG currently. Some people might say Diablo 2. But even tho I grew up and love that game... It can't match todays PoE.
PoE just has so much more content and character building. With that said, PoE still has its flaws. I think the insane powercreep in PoE is a too much. Not really a fan of gameplay where you swoop around, pop potions and exploading everything on a map. Wish it was atleast a bit more tactical then what it is now. PoE does not have any competition and diablo4 will draw some players away for a time but unless they radically increase the depth of character customization is going to end up like diablo3.
D4 is also years away and PoE2 is 1-2 years away so. IGN: Arlianth

I still enjoy Grim Dawn more. But only thanks to modded content. But this Leauge is really boring. Cant play more then 1-2 Maps :(

" Skyrim with 300+ mods is something I always return to after my eyes burnt out from poe'S visual cluster fuck. It's like entering an amazingly detailed and colored world after being stuck in a post impressionist nightmare. Imagine POE offline mode with a modding community behind it. Visual, balance, QOL and other issues would be all solved in a matter of months... On topic, I think poe will never really have any competitors until a game studio creates something nearly as complex class/skill/passive skill system as poe has. And dumbing-down games to the point where you need no brains to play them has been the trend for quite a while and there are little to no signs that this would change in the foreseeable future. Be it arpg or not. Last edited by gabpla111#1381 on Jul 17, 2020, 4:23:43 AM
