GGG where is my FUCKING LOOT !?
Do alvas, delve, metas, blights and you will still find plenty of loot explosions. It's not like every map doesn't has at least one of these encounters (breach, abyss, deli, cassia, legion, tane) plus whatever scarab, mission, sextant, influence you put in the map.
But the psychology behind these perceived changes is interesting. Right now people can finally craft their own shit losing minimal time on the bad trade system (even thou they have to lose time to setup their garden which i agree is boring af, but at least only has to be done a single time). Instead everyone is complaining there is no currency to be had, currency that would be used just to buy the gear they wanted, and that gear could already have been crafted by themselves using the league mechanics. The reality many fail to see is that Poe never was and still isn't a "drop gear" ARPG, it is a crafting gear ARPG. All the currency system in the game resolves around crafting, half of the implemented league mechanics affect crafting in some way. All the strong rares are only available by crafting (or lottery odds). And only a few selected unique gear are really powerful enough to occupy a BIS slot. Furthermore, i believe there is a thin line (that poe crossed in legion and posterior leagues) on the magnitude of loot explosions. I went from getting excited from certain rare drops to just not feeling anything, if every map drops a lot, is it really a lot then? The only loot i think should be always in loot explosion mode is content access (maps, frags, splinters,scarabs, sulphite, etc). Everything else doesn't need to drop like candy for me to feel good while playing the game. So TlDR, Poe is a crafting ARPG, currency drops should only be important for crafting purposes, too vast loot explosions can be bad, since they can make things feel less "rewardful" in the long run. |

This is the first league where I am actively picking up trash uniques to sell them for alch shards. It's that bad.

no, actually you need to use your brain. its not even a bad thing to pick up every white opal/unset/amethyst/%mana/%life ring and just roll those on the garden. also minionwands are a thind ;) you also need 0 alchs/chaos to roll your maps and most of your gear... and even jewellers/fuses/chromes are stacking up 1 thing i really, really like is that next to no GCP from gemdrops outside of lab, temple, blighted maps etc... makes me happy. please remove all quality gem drops from core game :P d:-D*

Answer: ilvl 10 and lower like +1 maximum ES, + 1-3 Attack damage. Crafting needs massive rework to exclude exampled situation. I am happy that harvest introduce more control on RNG but it still is not enough. Why the heck high ilvl won't block low ilvl affixes? In every game I played with item scoring/levels higher score/level meant better stats but in POE, fuck this let's RNG decide how shitty item you will get from crafts. I really wish that GGG will introduce the limits to enchants like this: - ilvl 1-10 lowest tiers of enchants (11-12 or 13 if it's the lowest) - ilvl 11-20 tiers (10-11) - ilvl 21-30 tiers (9-11) - ilvl 31-40 tiers (8-10) - ilvl 41-50 tiers (7-10) - ilvl 51-60 tiers (6-9) - ilvl 61-70 tiers (5-8) - ilvl 71-80 tiers (4-7) (that should be the Acts end) - ilvl 81-90 tiers (3-6) - ilvl 91-99 tiers (2-5) - ilvl 100 tiers (1-4) With this ilvl systems you: - decrease RNG meachanics in game that is hated by nearly every player (and I mean not only POE players) - introduce good progression (players would really feel stronger and stronger) - can increase area lvls which mean also difficulty - ilvl will really mean something and not only chance for good crafts - can introduce character lvl blocks from using items in addition to stats restriction (ilvl 100 items can only wear characters that lvl is 90 or higher) Even Blizzard is getting rid of RNG in crafted items in WoW, but the only thing you didn't know about crafted items was it will get: haste, crit, versa or mastery as secondary stats, but the power was still limited to item level. |

First of all, OP probably [Removed by Support] uses some super very strict filter.
Why? Just picking up all of the rares, identifying them and selling for alt shards / alch shards, will get you at least 2 to 3 alchs per map. [Removed by Support]. Why? Cause he doesnt have an explosion of loot and with so much content in the game he has no idea how to make currency besides simply running a rare map and getting 234235 exalts per map. /slap As for those item level suggestions: no. its every league, just like with bugs, seems they are working on old client/server/database/whatever, which is bugged and have nerfed drops, takes them two weeks to two months to fix that again, to have one and half month of working game, before stomping it to ground again next league.
AND NOW IMAGINE, that this league will be shorter than any other, giving them less time to fix things and less time to actually work on next league, making next league utter trash. Thats one thing I am sure of. next league gonna suck harder than thirsty hoe. I dont want to hear Bs about so much content ingame, when there is 10 percent chance to get that content on map... i am barely having something on map, then i have monolith+cassia+nico+breach+essences+boxes+delirium on one map, then ten maps after that nothing. Yet most of those encounters reward me with super crappy rares. Even delirium is pre-buff/nerf. Most of times i had delirium, it was like i said it will be, on U-shape maps, or maps, where boss arena is next to entrance, yet you have to run thru whole map to get there. And Delirium barely gives anything else than Rare jewelry/armor/weapon. Last league I had to run bridge to get alchemy orbs, because at T5 maps, i was out of alchemy orbs. i hate this league so much! 5 days played, aw8, not a single exalt drop. only rare maps. the crafting in harvest is mediocre. it lets u get easy life on items, but thats about it. delirium was the first league i played, and i had fun, got decent loot all the time. now i dont really enjoy playing cos i get nothing at all. without any ex i cant even buy low end items for my char... and yeah, lets be real, the chance to craft anything good is so low, its never gonna happen. |

with harvest crafting is same problem like with syndicate veiled recipes.
You have RNG on your RNG on your rng. (First you need to hit RNG on correct seed, then you need to hit RNG with that seed on a specific recipe you need, or, if you use it as chaos/fossil, then just spam it, until you get what you need) + now you have on-death effects on on-death effects, because everyone loves them. |

" He is right I have no idea where your so called 'great crafting' because i have seen 0 good items from all my effort into 'crafting' stuff. There is NOTHING of a value so far (level 91) that i have seen or got from all the crafting I have done and my so called 'reward' is spending a fuck ton of hours into gardening collecting shit making sure its grown and receiving a lower chance for drops of simple alchemy orbs and the like and for what? For useless chaos/alchemy orbs spamming. This is literally the first league I ever played where both of my friends and me are feeling like totally skipping it because the prices on the AH are bat shit crazy the currency drops are non existent the mobs are more rare and the new 'crafting' mechanic is so unrewarding it actually does the complete opposite of making want to play. |
