It is. To some extent it is the fault of GGG, they should know we are in an era where most gamers are mindless sheep that need to follow build guides just to play a game. The thought of spending 2 minutes reading a few tooltips and figuring things out on their own horrifies them so much that they instantly start blasting the mechanic without even trying it. "It's bad! I need to watch youtube tutorials to figure it out! How dare you try to make me engage my brain in a video game!"

It's honestly kind of scary, what happens if the devs start catering to that crowd? Will PoE eventually turn into Torchlight 3?

Board game (Syndicate), puzzle (Synthesis), tower defense (Blight), gardening (Harvest). What do all these leagues have in common? The majority of players didn't like them or flat out hated them.
