Hideout scammed

You telling u paid 20ex before u even claimed whole hideout?
It's time to look mirror then. U should pay after u have claimed hideout, if seller is not ok for that, then its probably scammer which happened to you.

Man Google translate is bad lol
I'm proud to say that I've never been scammed, I don't trust anyone lol.

But it's harder to get scammed on console at least but it still happens to people looking for crafting services or whatever.

Use Discord for Trading services, it's much safer.

I don't know why selected "people" feel the need to scam others out of their imaginary currency but it happens a lot with Hideouts/Temple Services.

On discord you can request they go into one of the channels and share screen, you don't need software for this, discord has it inbuilt so there is no excuse.

The Forgotten Trove discord is great for services and has a load of helpful people that assist with many aspects of gameplay.
TFT also has a useful "Vouch" system which lets you know how trustworthy a person is based on previous experience with other players.
As well as a Scam Report system which allows blacklist of known scammers.

POE Trade Discord is good for Hideouts, has channels for it and pingable rolls to alert you when someone finds the one you want.

Both have voice channels to share screen.

If you are going to accept services from random people in Scamchat right click their portrait when they are in your party and take down the name in brackets at the top, thats the account name and much more useful than a character name that is going to be deleted once the scam is over.

Sadly, the only thing taking down the name is useful for is telling others off-site, and remembering for yourself. GGG takes no actions in trades and disallows the posting of names (name and shaming) even if it is a straight up scam =/
Should you request a video? Perhaps.

What you shouldn't do is buy things from people without a guarantee.

You have 2 options:
1. Get seller to let you get the hideout first, then pay. (this makes them vulnerable so fat chance)
2. Don't buy things like hideouts and find them yourself.

Those are literally your only options if you don't want to get scammed. You went for option 3 and you paid the price. Better "luck" next time.

Wow, scammers exist in an online aRPG that has trading. More news at 11

This has been a thing for over 2 decades.

Because it still works, evidently. But when we try to educate the victims, we're "victim shaming"... so it'll keep happening. More scammers, more victims, more decades.

uh...no. Never been scammed once. Nice try ( I guess? Oo)
I scammed myself today - was trading currency and forgot alts are 20 stacks and treated them as 10.

But the whole time I felt like something was off, but at the time I just didn't really care since it wasn't a huge trade, tho someone basically got an extra 50c worth of alts off me.

In comparison, during most of the league I was pretty wary during every trade. But I'd never bother with the hideout purchase - if they trust you'll pay after there's no guarantee once you've unlocked it and if you pay before there's no guarantee you're getting what you think you're paying for.
Yep, totally over league play.

This is how people who have been scammed should be like
