I am already troubleshooting this issue for 8 hours now...
I already did a clean reinstall of PoE (standalone AND Steam Version), did a Driver reinstall with DDU, etc. etc.
The earlier drivers will continue to work with 2004 but they won't be taking advantage of the new driver model or be able to use GPU scheduling (if your card supports it). Weather or not any of that matters for playing PoE, I have no idea. However, as you've moved to 2004, you may as well use drivers that have better support for it.

Unfortunately it didn't change any of the problems I encounter atm - as stated in the forum post in another thread here in mor detail.
Game still closes immediately on startup or in case of the standalone client it atleast takes like 0.6s to crash to the desktop.

Yes driver 450.99 fixes all the issues.
