Redid my 30x Shore 20% quality / 4x sextants / 4x scarab / 80+quant

His "investment" choice is not very good. I guess he simply wanted to "pump" up map cost, to look like it's not worth investing. For ex legion scarab in shore map is not a good choice, it's much better in wide open maps, than in narrow linear one. - master: Jun/Zana (I do zana only if she offers special map, skip her if she gives you usual maps)

And after running 30 maps I end up with much more than 1ex return.

But ofc you can always stack up not the best investments for YOU (if it works for streamers, doesn't mean it will work for you), put very strict loot filter and then say that investments are bad.
It's like people who kill 10% of mobs in map and says that they can't sustain their t15 maps.

Also he got a lot of different maps, which means he didin't set up his favourite maps, which can lead into big moneyzz as well.
But hopefuly, his research will discourage people from investing into maps, so these scarabs/chisels/etc are cheaper for me ^^

but shore is an open layout ? or say me a single map with a better one lol ? maybe run a shore map and you see for yourself?


also i used the favor system on maps^^ used it on basilca / lair / courth since those maps i like the most

and last one i only used rusted scarabs, not a single polished or gilded... the cost for scarbs are just different in league and standard

.Shore is not a tunnel like malformation or sewers, but still is rather narrow if you compare it to wide open areas, in which you get 3-4 times more legion monsters (fields map for example, has very big legions).
Also to make elder scarab worthwhile, you should also use "War among the stars" unique watchstone, which gives a lot of extra elder mob packs, which increases your scarab value. Will cost ~2c/map, but it will net a lot of extra elder/shaper items. And if you run 30 shore maps with that watchstone and elder/shaper scarab only and complete ex shards vendor recipe (unind one), you will still end up with much more profits. Ofc if you get lucky, you keep these super good elder bases to yourself, but most of them are vendor trash.

The fact that even after being told you wrong, you still confuse shore with strand speaks highly about your level of understanding of the subject. Shore has nearly the same form as fields. While we at it strand is also perfectly wide for legion farm.

Tbh didn't notice it was strand (thought about shore). But still it doesn't change the fact that he mis-uses his scarabs, by not bringing their full potential.
I am not the best player, I admit it, but I have my ways of very reliably farming 4.5 - 5.5ex / hour, but sure, keep making these 30maps runs for 1ex profit, you know better.
