Renderer Vulkan options is Gray
Same issue, video card 100% supports it
Running standalone 64bit client and even tried manually changing it in the config and that made no difference it will not let me change from DX11 at the main menu. Last edited by nefarious#7969 on May 29, 2020, 5:03:36 AM

For those who use Steam (not me), try changing the number of Bits 32-64, I saw some guys doing this and getting it work, it is not my case, but it never hurts to try

It's also grayed out for me. I've been trying to run POE in 64 bit but when I look in the processes it says 32 bit. I don't have a clue why it would be running 32 bit. I'm even running the exe that says 64 bit directly and it auto runs the 32 bit version. I'm stuck :/

Tried switching to the Vulkan renderer at log in screen, no luck. Graphics card is Intel (R) HD 630, information tells me it can support Vulkan version 1.2.135 but trying to switch just crashes.
No luck manually changing it, the option is only for Direct X. |

Spoiler
I have GTX 1050 TI 4 MB GDDR5
Using 64 bit launcher and having grey Vulcan button. Furthermore I have had quite smooth experience with Dx11, but since Vulcan versions were introduced - the performance dropped as hell! @I have observed that in my GeForce Experience Platform the game name is: Path of Exile (Dirextx11). Perhaps this is the clue... I have switched off the GeForce Experience Platform. Opened game. using x64 bit launcher. The game has been windowed, but I could use the Vulcan! Please try this on ur side! ING: MG Last edited by Fuzzonodrome#7056 on May 31, 2020, 4:13:34 AM

" Thank you so much! I have no idea why I had the 32bit launcher on my desktop. I launched from the start menu before and used Vulkan fine.. then today my fps went way down and I died from graphic stuttering 4x before I saw it had switched back to DirectX. Why even include a 32bit launcher these days is beyond me. EDIT.. NVM still doesn't work :( game is freakin unplayable going back to the stuttering directx crap after getting a taste of Vulkan. gtx 1080, play everything else on ultra and PoE on low with sound off.
