I heard chinese client has ressurect from HC death by payment. I fail to see how this is considered better. Well maybe it is for some HC players i dont know.

Is it true that they have legal RMT shops for PoE Items somewhere on chinese PoE website?
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

I have always seen the P2W Chinese version as a bad idea. Playing PoE should always be about playing skills and not who is the richest that can just buy their way to a level 100 build. The only thing the Chinese version has that we need here is for the item search to be brought in-game with the search results including a WTB button for a 1 click whisper. The requirement to go out of the game to do item searches and have to copy/paste to whisper the seller is totally so last century and wrong.

How exactly is it P2W, though? Is PoE about winning, and if so, how do you win in this game? By having more currency than others? But what is that going to achieve? There is no win condition in Path of Exile. You set yourself your win conditions, and that's about it.
The Chinese client has QoL features that we don't. Are they paid for? Yes. Are they mandatory? No. It's the same with premium stash tabs. You can have easier time selling stuff than spamming trade forums or the scammy /trade chat. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

It is the unfair advantage you get if you choose to pay.
For example you can hire a pet that will pick up all currency automatically for you. Pretty pricey I believe. Like other player already said believe even if you play hardcore you can buy a resurrect which of course is just stupid if you choose to play HC. Believe there are also options to make leveling more powerful but cannot be bothered to look that up. So yeah it is pay2win in china while GGG choose to have the game for free and no real big advantages for those who pay for things like extra stash tabs and that sort of things. |

I just wanna point out stuff like auction house is something we will never get. Chinese citizens have to literally signup with their social security number and where they live.
Reason for this mostly how it works for example in Korea maplestory. If you bot hack or do anything that gets you banned you can actually get arrested and have police knocking at your door. Also another thing unrelated. Back in league of legends old honour system you could honour a player and after a certain amount of honours that person got a ribbon showing it for a LONG time during loading. Korean players did this to mark toxic players or trollers or feeders. instead of how you would normally use it to honour a good player the system was used completely different. I mean to say that theres a good reason why the chinese version has so many QoL features it's because they can afford having it added to the game. If we got a auctionhouse we would be flooded by botters making their life even easier.
