Rolling my Thicket Bow - Keep going?

Alchs and Scorings are expensive items to re-roll like that.
This is what I did.
1. Found a five link bow with a reasonable starting base damage and more importantly a good attack per second rate. Thicket Bow would have been better but what the hell.
2. Then I traded 49 Jewellers for 49 Alteration Orbs (far cheaper than Alchs + Scourings) and re-rolled the bow until I got an Increased Physical Damage over 130% - it took 37 rolls.
3. Upgraded the bow to Rare with a Regal Orb
4. Chromatic orbed it till I got the required slot colours. It took 58 rolls :(



Regarding Fusing links - well I've totally lost track on the number of times I've rolled this plate and I have yet to roll even 4 links in it let alone 5 or LOL 6 - My NEW policy is: If you want a five link either buy a five link or do the runs and find a five link but NEVER EVER waste orbs to trade for fusings.
