Does anything other than annulment orb remove quality e.g. exalts and so on?

Wiki is not written by GGG staff.

The player community has long suspected that annulment chance is not even and tied to spawn weight of the mod

Player also claimed that they alway annual the incursion mod (zero spawn weight?), but i kept the incursion mod personally when i annual my gear

The tooltip of annualment orb has stated "The item's Catalyst quality decreases the chance of removing a modifier which matches the quality type"

But it really need a massive player testing to check the H0 and H1 of annulment chance theory

I've did a lot of annuling, and I'll be honest: It feels like its more weighted to taking your best mod off it. It damn sure doesnt seem random. Those things snag my t1 rolls ALL the time.

Even sounds like something GGG would do anyways. Maybe its perception bias, but thats what it seems like to me. It doesnt feel like a random system. Seems more weighted to bricking your item than the other way around.
I wouldnt be surprised if Annuls mod weighting was the inverse of the initial mod chance.

Catalysts may then reduce the odds, but that doesnt mean those mods are less likely to be removed than other ones.

For example:
Before catalyst chance to remove:
T1 ES - 1000
T7 life - 50

After catalyst chance to remove:
T1 ES - 100
T7 life - 50

so odds (in this completely fictional scenario) of removing the T1 mod are heavily reduced, but it's still the most likely mod to be removed.
