This fight is garbage. I survived for 45 minutes with 300 000DPS very tanky build. Waste of time. Never ever going in again even if he drops 1000000000 mirrors: no fun. Getting DPS in in last phase is absolute lottery. I think I had 10 minutes where I just ran around because there was no way to hit him. Screw you GGG and your DPS meta. I couldn't even fucking cull him for like 5 minutes. What a joke.
and I've only died 39 times. (c) Libbritania ( tokimeki ). Last edited by ZL0J#0080 on Aug 10, 2020, 4:15:25 PM

" You had the dps of a level 60 character and you wonder why you couldn't kill him? |

The fight isn't fun, that's for sure.
My main problem with the fight, it's the randomness - especially fighting him as melee. In some encounters, you 'never' get to deal damage to him for more than a second before he 'teleports' into a new ability, while in other encounters, he just stands around and auto-attacks you for 20 seconds (with the occasional beam), and the fight is over. In some fights, he casts his multiclone every time I touch him, while in other fights, I maybe see it once (all examples are of course from the last phase). Like I've said before; I like what they are trying to do with the fight, making it semi-random so you have to be on your toes and react, no matter how well you know the fight. But, again, it feels really unfair when the only time you have the chance to deal damage to him for more than one second, is when he charges up the multiclone. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

I think it's a very poorly designed fight and I hate it.
That being said, it's not as hard as people are making it out to be. Sure if you have a potato for a character you WILL die easily in that fight. Myself I tend to die by my own inability to stay out of the ground degen or accidentally dash into a storm, but as a melee getting DPS on him is rather simple. It's not intended for every player to be able to just faceroll like the Elder fight. Of course it's not particularly hard to build a character that can easily kill Sirus either. |

It's a procedural fight, but it took procedural to the next level. Where instead of retrofitting your character to deal with phases and gimmicks, you build a specific class or build to deal with the mechanics of the fight
2018: Kaoms Roots, go. 2020: Aura stacker or archmage arcane cloak kamehameha, go. [19:36]#Mirror_stacking_clown: try smoke ganja every day for 10 years and do memory game

Sirus has a bajillion audio cues you have to follow. It's the kind of fight that gets easier the more you do it. It's still a stupid fight with black on black effects and a black debuff ball on a black floor with a black covered enemy flying big black balls around a black arena. I just wish it didn't take a ridiculous amount of time to unlock him again, who actually looks forward to Sirus?

" I've killed sirus a8 plenty of times deathless this league with 3.5k hp on an assassin bv, but I've also ripped 1-2 of them due to back to back deaths to entirely unavoidable lasers on reentry after an initial rip. GGG doesn't seem to understand basic trigonometry, and that something firing a rotating laser from over a screen away literally cannot be avoided if the distance of the leg of the triangle is long enough, as even a minor rotation of the angle results in a large linear distance sweep at a far distance. The fight is terribly designed in terms of what is challenging compared to what is just unrealistic to avoid, on top of being a visual clusterfuck, and also mainly a "wait for sirus to fuck off from the clouds" game outside of final phase a8. There's no powercreep here. Creep implies it's slow and could be overlooked, this is a full out sprint.
