1 chaos trade Tabs. If you have no intentions of selling DO NOT SET ONE UP
" I'm not really even listing them for trade, its more of a catch all tab to make sure I don't miss something that's actually worth trading. If I happen to make a few 5c trades in my down time that's actually just a side effect of the tab. |

I can't even comprehend how you don't understand that this is blatantly asshole behavior you're describing.

" When I'm buying uniques I generally spam whisper the first 20 or so selling something and just chose one of the people that invites me at random. I bet you think that's an asshole move too. But it's what's efficient to me, so I see no reason to stop. Ignoring those 1-10c trades unless you're already just downtime in your hideout will massively increase your wealth. Welcome to Path of Exile. |

I don't even understand why people have 1c buyout tabs. I just took my entire wealth and divided by my playtime from leaguestart, and I'm (since lvl 1) at 5c/min,so unless I can conclude a trade in 12 seconds it isn't worth it.

" And this is exactly why PoE has shit trade function. With no way to know that there is a WTB request unless you are logged in and doing nothing at the time of the request. GGG is stupid to not have a way to be notified via a smart phone text when you get a WTB. All players that say "trading is fine" are the f'n streamers and no-lifers that are logged in PoE over half the day everyday. That leaves at least 98% of us who aren't slaving and never will slave PoE out of the trade selling picture. Hell I'd buy a couple sell tabs if I had a way to know when someone was sending me a WTB if it weren't for having to be chained to my gaming rig and logged into PoE to be notified. It's 2020 and where is PoE trade currently, back in the 20th century. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 |

" So basically you're saying that it's okay to waste everyone else's time by not checking prices on your items and that everyone else should check your prices for you because you don't want to be bothered. So you probably also don't care that we see this as a dick move. So cool. I'll add you to my ignore list so I don't have to waste my time seeing items you don't want to sell. |

Agreed, Kirran. God, I really wish it was easy to add to ignore lists from the website. It'd be worth blocking so many people like this.
Instead I have to switch to my personal laptop, open the PoE client, look for one of this person's character names, and then type out /ignore <character>. Such a huge waste of time when I know right here and now that I never want to interact with that person in-game at all. And yes, Merix, that is obviously an asshole move too, jesus. PoEs trade system is fine. Most people can't do well not because they don't have time but because they are inefficient as fuck while playing.
Heres some tips. Roll maps in bulk, 50+ at a time. Stop picking up crap, if you're on neversinks play on at Least Uber strict, When you get back to the hideout put your next map in right away Make a 5-10c dump tab and every item you pickup in your map goes in that tab don't even take the time to look at items just dump them there, the market will spam you if something is worth more. Stop worrying about missing stuff, if you die in a map it's generally not worth it to go back in and run back to where you were, just open a new map and go. |

" Ive got news for you, this is how everyone at the top end plays. This isn't an exception, this is the rule of how to play Poe. |

" I used to trade a lot, especially on the lower end. As I got more experience I definitely felt the lower end stop being worthwhile. The thing about the low cost sales is that as a buyer you're at the mercy of the seller being readily available enough to bother or being that dick that spams a bunch of folks and just goes to whoever disregarding the inconvenience to all those other people. You know, for the longest time I had a hang up on vendoring something for shards when it could sell for a chaos. It hasn't gone away entirely, but trying to clean up my standard stash was a great help in getting me to care less about the low value side. Yep, totally over league play.
