Extra projectile is pretty bad imo, it doesnt increase your dps as extra projectiles can't shotgun their dps, only one proj will deal damage at a time from extra projectiles.

And if you just want more clear coverage where are better ways to do that even after using GMP, like a dying sun or something
Once you have unnerve , what's a decent replacement in the CwDT instead of Blade Blast? Immortal call won't consume the minimum endurance charges, and I do want to keep it low level to easily proc Cold Snap so I'm not sure what to run here.

Good evening. Followed the author's assembly, please tell me how you can improve my build. The budget is about 60 ex. The damage seems to be good, but according to Pob the author has 3 million dmg more than me, with + - the same items. Perhaps this is due to that I'm a noob using pob

Finally put the build together, it was fun! ~15mil dps according to PoB fully buffed, not sure what that means for "real" dps.

I went for crit, but I opted not to go for Supreme Ego or Whispers of Doom, instead using Clarity + mana recovery Watcher's and Mind Drinker anointment for hopefully a bit of extra mana/regen. So the DPS could go up quite a bit. I'm also not sure Disciple of the Forbidden is worth it, could probably go for more crit jewels with those points. But I was quite low on crit chance.
I got unnerve % on gloves, so I put cull + Sniper's Mark on WoC + Arcanist Brand for utility (means I could get a better ring without needing a curse on hit), and linked RF to Empower and Enhance for a bit of extra damage. Anomalous Lightning Golem to hopefully help with the "locking in" because of spell echo. And then CWDT + Cold Snap because why not I guess.
Dex was an annoyance, had to get 28% quality with the dex enchantment on the body to make it happen.

1. You could craft % damage on your belt instead of EDWAS (which isn't doing anything)
2. If you wanna minmax, your helmet could have 40% ball lightning damage lab enchant.
3. You could get unnerve on your gloves: right now you have unnerve ticked, but you only trigger it via CWDT which is very situational
4. You need to get some fire damage to spells in your build, otherwise you shouldn't tick "is the enemy ignited", because your abyssal jewel is only giving damage to attacks, and you're not attacking (you're casting)
5. You could get a Cinderswallow with crit %. The movement speed doesn't stack with your quicksilver flask's adrenaline, so it's a wasted stat.
6. You could increase your DPS by getting triple crit jewels (they are about 14 ex with a life % mod, 20 ex with a mana % mod.)
7. Lightning Walker is good DPS per point for you. Get a few levels and pick those up.
8. You haven't allocated Arcane Potency but you have 1 unused point, misclick?
9. You have VRF checked but not RF. Generally I'd only check RF, since you won't always have charges, but RF gives more damage anyway.

Those changes bring your dps to 8.9 - 9.8mil, depending on the jewels and whether you upgrade your helmet.

To push it a bit further, you can consider dropping Purity of Flesh and grabbing another jewel cluster near Scion start (also gives you res, which might make it easier to minmax other gear)

I have a general question for you guys - when you itemize for resistances in general - how do you account for elemental weakness in maps? do you in general have higher resistance than cap/do you swap items/do you rely on curse flask?

I just rely on flask. I wouldn't be able to stand looking at overcapped resistances haha

Guess I gotta let go of my habits. I just hate the mili-second flask is on cd and I get pummelled - and RF running with low-fr is kinda nasty.

Any tips btw for crafting those jewels of yours? I assume a lot of remove non-crit/add crit harvest craft on top of increased maximum mana + crit modifier bases?
