WTF are you talking about ? FIFA trading system has nothing to do with their P2W system allowing players to buy packs with real money.

Nope. P2W improves every game a ton. It just creates more and better stuff for free and paying players.

If they could cut out the traveling to one another's hideout to make trades, that would be a big plus for me, but I don't think they want that.
Also an in-game search function as an option would be nice.

I hope you're kidding. P2W will never improve a game. P2W makes people entitled and spoiled, and the game will probably - in time - be balanced around it. How that can make a game better, is beyond me.
As long as they just implement the current search function into the game, and develop some kind of "accept/decline-on the fly" system, it would be more than sufficient. You still have to be online (which should be a requirement in any trade system), and YOU have to initiate/complete the trade yourself.
