without it you have 19mines without any support, or 23 with minefield.

but it's not that important, 19 mines are more than enough


ah makes sense. Yea 19 has been fine so far for me. Just wasn't sure if there was something I missed lol.

whats everyone's setup looking like? i'm curious what variations there are.

Would love some input from any of you guys on what to change for making this more of a boss only char. Mostly just guardians and sirus.
I dont really know how to use pob, so my numbers looks really bad compared to some of you guys. Am I doing something wrong in the build or in pob?

couple quick things looking over your build:

- swap out blastchain mine with high-impact mine
- when bossing, swap out minefield with elemental focus (awakened if you can afford)
- spec out of ghost reaver, as you arent using Machina gloves, we cant leach off mines without these gloves
- and if you got the money, Bottled Faith is an insane dps boost
- and when checking dps in PoB, under the configuration tab up top is where you can tick boxes as far as enemy shocked, lucky crit.. ect. which will give you a more accurate dps picture


random sidenote, that shield is dope, didnt realize you could get + aoe gems. going to look into picking one up now.
Thanks for the tips, the high impact swap is the thing I was forgetting about!
SO the leech from storm drinker isnt useful either then right? Was just a random one i had that looked like itd be decent to use

A few more levels would be super helpful, so I am going to swap this and my assassin when it hits 96 lol. That build is a much much faster mapper and I can level it back up in a day or two.
Ive only done A7 stuff so far but all the guardians just melt.

I found the shield looking at some of the other high dps miners on poe.ninja builds, almost all of them using +2 aoe.

correct on storm drinker, only way we leech with mines is with the Machina gloves, if you pick up a pair you will have pretty good leech with that and ghost reaver. I ran them for a little and it wasn't bad, but didn't feel like it was worth the points and slot when you can get something better imo in the glove slot.

the levels will def help, getting a hypnotic jewel with lighting to spells and global crit multi is a solid dps boost as well.

Yea, im picking up a shield like that asap. I was planning on re rolling again once i was farming a8 sirus but im having to much fun min/maxing lol
Managed to kill A8 sirus on my first try. Not too upset about it.

For sure going to look at how to not get blasted so hard if i take a beam

i'm currently lvl90, atlas 4, it's my first char "low life", i'm in the middle of your "mid version" and the endgame version and i have 2 questions :

1)
i dont understand why we use the node "arcane vision" with "pain attunement"
i looked at poe.ninja similar builds and most of players dont use it :-/

i dont feel a big difference with or without it...

with "High-impact mine support" you saied respect "Born in the shadow" by "Demolition specialist"

i cross fingers to drop a big item to have more currencies to upgrade my gear, but for now, i play alone without guild, and it's not realy easy...
so i must play with minimal stuff buyed on low trade.

For your first question.

Arcane vision is used mostly for light radius,since it's based on ES rather than life, and because you are low life,your light radius is reduced,hence you take arcane vision because the light radius is based on energy shield and not life.

Yes,some people don't take that, because they play with a group,and there your light radius does not really matter, but in solo play, light radius does matter,it's not the same if you see 5 meters ahead or 20 meters ahead.

Pain attunement is quite noticeable, since you are reserving most of your life,you become low life, and that skill gives you 30% more spell damage if you are low life. But since you are low life, your light radius decreases,so to compensate you take arcane vision so the light radius isn't based on life but on energy shield.


As for your second point, most people take Born In the shadows for a bit of extra survivability. As ES based miners are quite brittle in general,they need any extra defensive layers they can get.

about the gameplay, it was boring for me to self cast the golem (he die a lot) and the wave of conviction on spell totem

i used orb of storm (or storm brand) + curse on hit to cast conductivity.

for the fun, i tried this weapon craft :



i know i lose some few DPS on the wand because i can craft many suffix like crit chance, crit multi, chance deal double dmg, etc etc..
but now, i have 2 open socket on the gear to find something to up my survivability :-)

like the golem, i died a lot too :-/

what do you think about that?
