Is it just me or is the game just not fun...

This is the problem with the timers in PoE in general. Timers force you to move faster.. moving faster force you to blintdy go for more dps.. dps equals killing faster equals moving faster equals playing the content like it or not equals taking from you the ability to theorycraft something unique for you that doesnt mean millions of dps and one button zoom experience.

Timers have to go yesterday.. i want my incursions to last.. i mean what if somebody rings the bell of my house at that moment? Is it better to spend like 5 seconds to clear an area and stay safe there than losing the incursion or leave my visitor for 20 or more seconds outside?

I want mist to last I DONT WANT TO FEEL PUSHED TO PLAY A GAME, I DONT WANT TO ZOOM DPS ALL THE TIME CAUSE YOU FORCE ME TO.. IT SUPPOSED TO BE SOMETHING ENTERTAINED AND NOT AN ANXIETY FESTIVAL EVERY 3 MONTHS.

I just want to thank everybody for the thoughtful reply’s. Sometimes even forums can be so stressful. I was worried that I was going to get a bunch of replies that just told me to “get good“ or suck it up and don’t be such a whiner.

I love this game and if I ever criticize that it’s only for the ends of making it better. Pretty much from the first day of the guy had a sense that something wasn’t right. But it really wasn’t until I got in the mapping that I felt like this was really not going to be a league I enjoyed. Then after that first patch things just seem to get worse.

I think there should be a space in the game for ‘take their time players.” Where strategizing about how do I approach a mob and take them out can be rewarding. i am an older player in my reflexes aren’t what they used to be. This is one of the reasons I play this genre instead of FPS in the first place. Where it doesn’t have to be a twitch fest. But I still like a little more action then I turn based game.

So yeah I’ve jumped back into standard to finish up some things that I wasn’t able to do last league. It’s still enjoyable to play although I do miss working toward the Lee rewards it’s definitely more enjoyable than dying in the fog.

Hey nobody is forcing You to play it. Take a break, play something different. And if You will feel that this is the moment to try it again then You will do it.

Just that.

Every game is fun to someone.

If this game is not fun for you anymore, then don't play it.

It's not like it was, because it keeps evolving. Nerfs and power creeps makes it challenging for some.

I rather fly lvl 4 missions in EveOnline and i hate them just as well.

But this abomination of a league must be purged.

You touch the mirror - you die
Bosses are senseless bulletsponges - you die
You get better gear - you die b/c something
Mirror+any other league content - you die - freeze/fps drop/rubberbanding (2080 ti)
So much fucking clutter - you don't live

It's actually no fun.

I havn't been able to get into this league. I try and try but just no motivation. Maybe it is partially because of what is going on in the real world. Just don't feel like playing.

But those incursions made up... 10 percent of the time?

Even the temple itself has zero timers.

Zoom was rewarded, but it made up a small percent of total time. In delirium, if you play the mechanic, it makes up 98% of total time.
