Won't high-impact mine be more damage than blastchain? Also what about switching minefield for swift assembly on single-target setup for less clunkiness,we lose two prefire mines, but mobility will be much better, especially since we are not using demo-specialist?

In PoB, it might be better, but in practice, it's not. Impact mines has an effective modifier of 24% more damage at 23 stacks, and only for nearby enemies. Blastchain mine has an effective 60% more damage modifier at 23 stacks, for enemies at all ranges, and can be stacked beyond 23, to a point.

It only takes 3 mines to offset the difference in base damage between the two skills as well.

As far as swift assembly goes, it's definitely an option. There's lots of room for flexibility based off of your preferred playstyle. My personal thought is: Instead of trying to make Barrage less clunky, switch to the clear bow. Barrage doesn't do well in fights where you or the enemy are moving, because even if you throw them faster, the arrows don't track and will miss a moving boss. It shines versus bosses where you can preload, and should be benched the rest of the time. Minefield and Blastchain play to the strengths of the skill, instead of trying to offset the weaknesses.

It's why I say that the build basically "requires" 2 Doomfletch's. Outside of the specific situations where it shines, Barrage is so mechanically garbage that you need a quick way to give up on it. Lol.

thanks for fast and detailed answer. Also there is a small typo in gear section, cold convert on gloves is prefix, not suffix.
This build looks really fun and I recently got into mines lately and I personally enjoy it a lot. I was wondering if I wanted to also move pretty fast, is there anything in the skill tree I could also get or would recommending me another class (ex. deadeye) would be better?

You can always run Pathfinder with flasks and QoTF, the chest slot is flexible. I don't like Zoom Zoom myself, but the build does run Smoke mine, which is another 30% MS that I don't utilize. You can reach ~140% movespeed with the build if you feel like pressing all the buttons, get 30% boots, and run a different quicksilver than I am.
looks like a lot of fun gonna try this as my league starter, ty :)
came because of lifting nerd bro. mad build bro! thumbs up

confirmed insane build, did conquerors lv8 sirus with ease and tore t16 meta like nothing with hardly 2-3 ex investment. I can push it much more but dont bother as I am lazy.

btw, the barrage support delay is REALLY annoying, with 20% speed nerf in 3.10, I think more dps should be invested so that you can swift assembly almost every situation and only use barrage for certain preload situation.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the clear link any more, at least. That was the biggest concern. I dropped some throw speed nodes on standard to simulate the nerf, and it still feels fine.

I don't think it will affect barrage that much though, since we only really whip out barrage to preload, but it's just a single link to change and test out, will play with it once I get rolling in the new league and update the recommendation if it feels better.
