I can't save builds that way. Everything gets taken apart and repurposed for other builds...I do care some about standard and try to keep my favourites in some semblance of working order.
At the end of the day, really good items are like Lego sets, you want to keep them in the box they shipped in, but damn if that little round propellor base from the Apache Helicopter set doesn't work super well for the homemade belt drive you just built.
