So just how much is Tencent's financial control of GGG influencing PoE 2 development?
GGG outsource artists etc from china...... Obviously those studios are screwed by corona virus.

" The sheeple are still having the wool pulled over their eyes. The enlightened realize what this virus can do -- and its VERY clear to those who search for certain emergency supplies -- some of them spiking 1000% more than what they costed back in late 2019. be prepared for the ride -- and i dont mean in just some virtual video game. |

" please refrain from using normal real life logic to poe loyalists here.. they ignore such things for their own benefit to defend the all mighty TGGG. as for this thread poe 2 on china might be in a bit of a delay.. this could mean for us that poe 2 might be delayed.. and lets not forget that covid 19 virus could potential be a pandemic virus on this human era and age it could affect the world in ways that we might not be ready to experience.. the development of a game is the least of my concern right now. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure." Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words. poe0.2/10. Nuff said. " I don't think reading between the lines is necessary, it was stated that GGG routinely uses Chinese contractors for outsourcing assets polish and covid19 has made that no longer a viable option. This is not a GGG problem but an every game company that outsources problem. As the reach and impact of covid19 is being felt everywhere. |

" Because when they don't you get Activision/Blizzard...two innocent companies corrupted by greedy benefactors over a long, slow period of time. GGG isn't going to be any different if they start to slide backwards in the income bracket and Tencent starts angling for a hostile takeover or something. |

" Friend, welcome to corporate. Don't take it personally. Those 'greedy benefactors' certainly don't. They just want the revenue line to go up on the graph no matter what. |

" obviously. from the pcgamer article: "Outsourcing partners in China have been delayed by the coronavirus outbreak". No relation to tencent, just the good old PRC, GGG is just another collateral. Second-class poe gamer

" Don't think so. They (Tencent) do not have a history of influencing the development of "Western" games/companies they've acquired (Epic, Riot etc). And as long as GGG are fairly successful, I really do not see why they should "meddle". They can "order" GGG to work on special features on the Chinese realm, but why they would every stronghold GGG into altering the "Western" realm, is beyond me. Of course, some players/people will blame EVERY single thing they disagree with, on Tencent. It's just how people work. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
