sorry to bump this, but call me stupid if you will, does this work like 100ES + (node gives 30% to shield defenses) 30ES and then gets multiplied by +% to ES nodes? (let's say I have 100% more ES in nodes) it gets (100+30)*2 ?

you won't have 100% MORE ES in passives, you might have 100% INCREASED - there is a difference
if you have a 100ES shield and 100% increased ES from passives it's 100*(1+1.00), if you get 20% from the shield thingy it's 100*(1+1.00+0.2)

yes, increased, that's what I meant, what else could it mean? :) 100% more or increased is essentially the same thing, no? I was just wondering when and where in the formula it get's added, and you answered me. Thank you very much for that sir. :) I kinda hoped it would be 100*(1+0.2)*(1+1.00) :P

there is a "more" ES behind CI - "more" would be multiplicative while "increased" is additive
