Yea will be more friendly if atleast currency stash is giving by default. Once ppl try and feel good bout this game they probably will spend more than a currency tab.

Ofcourse POE is pay to win! Always was like that but white knights were saying the opposite.
Pay for stash-more currency-better gear- sirius down- ez game. Also don't forget that paying for clown mtx- better rng. |

The distinction is really that PoE is not a free game, it's free to play. Which should be obvious, people who gets mad that the game is not free when it's free to play are delusional.
What you can discuss is how the payment is built into the game. Overall I dislike the free to play model for several reasons. It promotes bad gameplay (in general, I don't think PoE is a bad implementation of a free to play game relatively speaking) and requires few people to pay for the many. It obscures the payment and is a trap for people who are unable to manage finances. What makes it work is that the free entry is good at getting a player base, which is good for a multiplayer game and ultimately ends up being financially superior in many cases. |

Its only Pay2Play after around 20-40h when you complete the Main Story for the First time, because for that you dont need Stash-Tabs or cool Outfits.
If you want to continue playing and start with the engame then you should invest real Money for comfort, which is totally fine (i mean at this point you already played 30-40h+ and you probably already had more fun and longer fun than with other games for 50€), but if we're honest it should be worth it for the player if they want to keep playing. Of course you can still play the engame without spending a cent, but I personally don't want to have to do without the speacial stach tabs anymore. And once u have them u dont need to buy them again you even will have them in POE2. Luckily, there are generally no consumables goods that u have to buy again and again like in most other F2P games.
