Question about flask macro

I strongly dislike the piano flask and how they ignore it.

however using any sort of macro to me is just lame.

I always thought streamers were using flask macro regardless.. imagine those people sitting 14-16 hours everyday and piano flasking for 3 months.

Now imagine someone plays a mine build and has to rapidly tap buttons ALL THE TIME.

I like how GGG keeps balance with mine builds in check by making it impossible to play those skills for more than a couple hours on end

Huh ? I play mine build and have never used a flask macro. It is illegal and not needed whatsoever. clicking flasks is easy

That's not the point. Walking naked covered in peanut butter is also easy. Is it practical? No. Is it convenient? No. Is it comfortable? No.

It's also not illegal... at least in California, so long as you're not being lude.
the ggg's policy is 1 macro 1 action, if your macro doing more then 1 action then you can get banned
You can keybind “key 1” to flask 1, “key 2” to flask 2, etc. But binding multiple flasks to the same key is bannable and easy to detect. Just because GGG hasn’t done anything about it lately (past few years?) wont’ protect you if they decide to enforce it for whatever reason.

As Sarno says, even a popsicle stick across multiple keys is a violation if it means you only have to press once.

Really? What about the gloves below? Would wearing them while playing be a violation that could result in a ban?

It’s a statement to stipulate you cannot find a loophole in GGG’s macro policy. It’s easy enough to detect consistent, identical intervals between flask usage. If those gloves make it appear to the server a macro is being used, they can ban for it and no amount of excuses on your end will change their minds.

Spoiler
Spoiler

I don't know about a ban, but I would respect your mad skillz playing in those gloves. Can't figure out the second spoiler
Arguing on the Internet: What's the point when you can't punch them in the face when they really piss you off?

They dont care if you macro flasks, just dont say you are doing it.

They dont want to go down the road of officially approving any macros because they dont like where it ends.

I think its a bit silly myself. Games like rift had an ingame macro builder to combo your skills, was pretty cool.

You should be able to tie detonate mines to your mine throwing skills, or ED contagion, or similar.

Instead of helping cool combos exist, the silly macro bad discourages it.

I've heard the Popsicle stick thing before. I think your genius idea solves that problem though! It might be better to just turn on the heater in your house though? :-)
