Be careful when entering the boss room- Cemetery map

Never had this problem on cemetery, but it was really bad with overgrown ruin when I first started maps. Huge room full of blue/rare mobs and totems plus a lightning strike boss that can hit pretty hard and pretty much zero room for kiting. If you decide to leave the area through the door after aggroing the mobs you can pretty much forget going back because they will wait by the door and one hit you instantly.

It's not really a problem for me anymore since my defenses have gotten better, but I've died to this multiple times and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it, it was pretty stupid.
It's definitely a post patch change...

I do MF runs in maps. I've run 300+ 67 maps, 50+ cemetery, the most that was ever in there with the boss was a single pack, usually no monsters at all.

Post-patch there are always 4-5 packs total, pack meaning a rare mob + minions or a pack of magic mobs. You walk in and get mobbed instantly. My 85 needs to run around in circles summoning totems and drinking quicksilvers/granites for about 30 seconds before I can stop moving.

I donno about all this anger about it being a player problem and blah blah. It simply wasn't this way prior to the last patch and it is now. If you do something and get used to it being that way and it's changed it should be noted in the patch notes.

If you are used to being able to kite the brutus clone chain and then they add half a screen to its range, that should be listed. Same for quadrupling the enemies in a tiny boss room when it was never that way before.

I haven't died to it but I immediately noticed it the first time I ran the map but didn't get around to searching for the topic on the forums.

When i walked into that room i was greeted by 4 or 5 of those nasty little flikerstrike, discharger mobs, lost 30% exp with my undergeared witch but cleared it in the end, but yea wasnt expecting to be instantly set upon at the door.

I went in there for the first time today in HC with questionably low DPS and a CI build not knowing what to expect since I didn't see this thread.

I was greeted by a pack of rhoas and a bunch of other stuff too. What happened was, I zoned in and saw 5 blue rhoas charging at me, so I instantly granite+quickness potted and ran along the wall. Then I decided it would be suicide to continue because I wasn't even sure what was in there -- boss included. So I ran out before the rhoas had a chance to recharge. For comparison I got hit for 50-60% of my life by a random champ on the first floor.

It was a pretty big scare... I don't think I ever want to zone into that room again.
Huh, so it's not just me.

I was running the cemetery map with no damage mods on it, entered the boss room and was greeted instantly by 5-10 elite alchemists. Nothing at all I could do.

RIP level 65 HC char. =(
Did like 30+ cementry maps atm. There is like 4 or 5 bad situations:
1) 2-3 Blue packs (bears with added life, sea witches with ele weakness and lunaris summoners with temp chains). So you got temp chain from the start, than freezing pulse from witches and huge hits with vulnerability from bears. barely kited this shit.

2) 1-2 blue packs: skele rhoa's (like in fetid pool) + skele from waterfall (proj. weakness). So they knockback you in the wall and if you dsync - you will die. They bump me in the wall and can't hit anymore. Had to logout. Didn't back there.

3) Barracks shield charge knights + lunaris 3 vulnerability ranged. I instapoped granite and enfeeble all of them. Still lost 80% hp (i have +100% armour on granite, so it was like 25000 armour). Handle it on 2 granits+ 2 insta pots.

So, basically, it's RNG - if you got lucky - blue packs not that strong and it's easy, you not - you have all chances to insta die no matter what. And yeah, I decide to not roll any + dmg nodes/vulnerability/temp.chain mods.

Had this also the last few Cem runs.

The last one few days ago the room was full of fire shooting bettles, gunners, lightening bitchs and shield chargers, wasn't real nice to enter into a room jam packed with champs and rares.

lol I just walked in and got almost popped from 4k ES and 4k HP by double mob of magic flicker strike guys discharging
