Regarding lack of an audit trail, if someone got a few scam reports they could just try to buy something from the accused scammer to verify it? Not only can you not get him banned, there is no mechanism or predednece to do so...but GGG will actually defend the scammer, it's like they approve of people getting scammed. Don't believe, post the scammers name, see what happens.

It is easier to silence the few vocal voices than to do an actual investigation.

Personally, i got myself today trade scammed first time in history of my trade league times. Was selling Farrul's Fur, buyer cancelled first trade when there was those 11ex + chaoses, and on second trade he was just putting two separate exalts and chaoses on trade window. I wasnt paying attention enough, and hit the accept button.
Anyway, lost only 9ex, so not a world breaking thing, and i've learned a very valuable lesson. :) |
