I beat Catarina at area lv 83 with 5 portals left and I bricked Sirus 2 times.
Now you know the answer. I hate those storm when he is invincible and we need to run, and we can't lag one bit on Sirus fight. |

Did my first Sirius today, I ended up with the lightning clouds(circles) blocking me, I died 3 times trying to jump them, lol.
Good times. |

The Catarina fight is a really bad piece of game design. All new employees at GGG should be shown footage of this fight and told if they design anything as bad as this , they are out :-D

I can do Sirus within 0-2 deaths (2 in bad case). I just used up all portals in Mastermind lab (read: ALL) while in the last phase of it. out of the blue one shots and insta death after entering the area again. while I had 2 portals left I brought in second char (a melee build with maxed res, even chaos) that manages to survive the meteors of Sirus sometimes and got one shot. checked poedb for the damage of the Mastermind - there is no attack that could oneshot that char even with crits! like wtf!!!
did I work for days on getting the syndicate members in the houses they needed to be? yes. did I max their ranks? yes. did I just break my beloved DasKeyboard on my knee after realising I have done the Mastermind deathless also? almost. but seriously, eff this! |

Right now I'd say Cat. I managed to beat Sirus first try 5 portals in, and I know that I failed my first Cat. While I did look up the Sirus fight first and assumed Cat would be relatively tame, I've at least fought Cat a few more times, and that fight still seems convoluted whereas Sirus at least made enough visual sense after seeing an overview.
To be fair, I also first tried Cat during her launch in Betrayal while Sirus I didn't touch till near the end of his league (and in std at that), after the usual several patches. Yep, totally over league play.

Sirus isn't that hard, but his fight is about things that you look at and think "I should probably not touch that or get hit by it". Catarina has a lot of "this looks like it will kill me but I'm actually supposed to step on it or in it."
So Catarina is definitely the worse fight. |

Catatina is the worst thing I met in game. I couldn't find what that all means and just quit this fight after some time.
