A business point of view.

The 7k number he got was from the Open Beta notification. That stated that 7k players where online at the same time.

And just in the same way that Charan has stated that he is more for PoE then D3, the same can be said about me. I have done over 80h of recordings on the game. Praised it to friends far and wide, and also spread the news of the games existinc on multiple forums.

So of-course my statements will be heavy bias against PoE instead of D3 that is my fallen angel from old times.

At one point Blizzard was perfect in my eye´s. They would talk allot to the players, interact more with us. And letting us, just like with GGG. Get to be evolved more in the bigger picture.

Since at the end, if we did not like it, we would not stick around for long. Now GGG has taken that spot for me. Cause just like Blizzard North, i am getting the things they showed me when i joined in. They are not showing me a tone of things i like, then they just trim it away. And now i wait to play D3 for the story, not the game-play.

And that is a strange feeling let me tell you.

BUT ! , we have enough blizz this,that on other threads.


As stated before, if you show this much ambition, this much spark and driiiiiive ! For making something, and believing in your creation. And when you have more ppl that also believe in this, it will happen.

Just watch / listen to the interviews. Does this sound like a person that would do this much work. To just sell it off right off the bat ?

Now i will not say that they will not sell it like Blizz did later on. And join up in a bigger company in the future maybe. But to sell it off before you have made a name for yourself would be kinda pointless from a Non-business persons point of view here.

But until i see that happen. Ill stick by my view of GGG that they are over ambitious Mo****-F´s like me. And will work there royal kiwi-behinds of to make it. And build up there own little ARPG kingdom.

And a free game of this caliber, that is not Pay2win ? I think there is enough ppl out there that the game caters to. So it will just not do good. But great.

And if other company's don´t get there act together, they will loose many players to this. Cause they are talking to us who fell in love with these kind of games when they first showed up. And i honestly think most of us just wanted a game with a dark theme like Diablo 1. But with the action of Diablo 2 / Dungeon Siege 2 & Titan quest.

They are giving us what we want. The best of the best in a great compilation of ARPG magic.



And the fans have already in a short time given them over 200k , and they will have gotten allot by the time of the game going live.


Also you have the fact that this is new. A newborn company where we all can be part of forming, with them, the game we all long for. GGG is very easy to get drawn in by there ambitions and love for the game and other games.

And atm i can only name ArenaNet & CD Projekt RED other then GGG that gives me a feeling that i want to help out , play the game , support them & spread the word of there game.

GGG´s gaming passion is contagious. Just on the fact alone that if you would like to have a talk with the developers. Anyone of them would give you a ear and listen & talk to you.

That is something many gaming company´s had forgotten.



#Personal connection

This kind of personal connection to your player´s is more worth in my eye´s then any sponsoring multi million company.


I may be young and naive. But there are some things, when it is lacking, that money will never be able to compensate for.



#Standards

They have all the standards in the base of this project that i, as a gamer from the early 80s demand.



#Catering to all and not one


So many have turned to just cater to the biggest mass of players. And not all there players. Understandable as it may be to survive many times. Ether do it for all your fans. Or don´t do it.

Thats my honest opinion. All fans should be treated equally. And here you do get it all with the Leagues. There will be things to do for all types of players. Hardcore , PvP , Mad Spreadsheet scientists , casual players.




For now i praise them for getting all my wishes of what a ARPG & a game company should be like.



What they do with this in the future i leave to Russell and his mad experiments to judge.



But for now, they, without a question, is what i consider to be the ARPG with the biggest potential, of making there game and company, take the spot, that Blizzard North once had.
