3.9 has ruined path of exile for me personally

Count yourself lucky you can even fight them.

Of the 14 or so people I know who play (or played) 3 have serious bugs where influence no longer spawns (despite following same guides as others with all watchstones. Similar reports abound https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2717430

2 have bricked atlas. So over a third are simply screwed for the moment.

And no word for GGG on the bugs.

Hope you are right and they are addressing it, but why not acknowledge it if thats the case. Anyway, fingers crossed.

Thats kinda the problem. The path itself is jumbled, muddy, circles back on itself, has a percent chance to simply stop with no reprieve, and is very .. .clunky.

Trust me, I spent many leagues not killing Uber Elder or delving under 500. I am all about the path, not the destination. But when the path sucks...

I enjoy the "encounters" from past leagues for a rest. (I have to choose wisely which map mods for who though. when it bothers me to choose somehow, I simply run maps via the map device.)
Also I changed my hideout to change the air. It worked out great.

Maybe we need a break from leagues. I guess many from the player base have not passed through races like endless ledges, descent champions.
I remember that brought me a calm moments despite the hypes among racers once I jumped into the caves and found myself not-so-good at it but it's quite enjoyable at same time. (then they suspended the race seasons and started to include those essence back into the main stream along with league features and now they started to re-construct the world. Maybe I should re-visit the exilecon archives.)

Well, I'm lost in the league too in a good way.

I quit playing PoE for Pokemon at the moment this how much i feel like 3.9 went straight downhill on melee. Will consider picking up if devs seriously fix melee and i dont mean cyclone...

That is the way of the world now I'm afraid. Having a contrary opinion usually earns you a derogatory label. No more old men discussing politics over a game of checkers at the gas station.

I miss seeing, and listening to them.

GGG are scared people will leave PoE because of power creep so in their wisdom they have buffed boss and mob life and damage and created new bosses designed to kill players. Easy bosses make the game feel trivial, a walkover some at GGG want a hardcore game played by the softcore.
