Because GGG are super vague about when things override and when things dont, and things already override the prefix/suffix cannot be changed. They need to reword them like this:

Prefixes cannot be changed*


*unless your using x/y/z crafting, then oops!


It helps because there would be no way to roll new mods on it without it.

I also don't think GGG would make both items get destroyed, that would make everything they added completely pointless. Nobody would ever use it since it'd be way more efficient to just farm for the base with the influence you want.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

Hm, i think it'd be significantly easier to get a plain base at ilvl 86-100 then use an orb on it than finding one out in the wild. But then i dont know how many exalts these special exalts will be worth. Plain elder items were worth 4+ exalts, and they were a lot more common than these things are.
