[Challenge] Baran's conditional challenge bugged?

So i got the challenge done!

So me and my brother tried every possible solution to this bug, BUT we finally got it.

as some people has writen it seemed to be a problem with the "Awakened Atlas" quest progression line, this is very true!

So what you have to do is to find someone who has NOT awakened their atlas, have him spawn Baran and then jump into his map and then get the mana runes to the correct positions as shown on page 2 in this thread.

Tada you will have the achievment done!

One other thing aswell, you can use as much movement skills and spells as you want too, cuz we did that too.

TL;DR: Find someone that did not awakened their atlas, have him spawn baran, do the rune thing "with movement spells if you want" and you're done!

I too have this bug sadly. I defeated baran without touching any mana rune and all the blocks were mana runes at one point. Hopefully GGG gives us this achievement and I don't have to do it again. I am awakener level 8 and all of my friends have atleast 12 stones lol.

Then have your friend spawn baran, as long as they haven't completed their atlast with all stones you can have them spawn him, and let you do the achievment.

It seems that this is true for me. Mine was 19 stones because I finished one just before that patch, and it happened to be baran's quest (4 of baran's, 5 of each of the rest to spawn sirus).

I also did not get the challenge after doing Baran. No failure message popped up while or after fighting Baran. For reference, this Baran gave me my 26th watchstone; I've attempted Sirus 3x so far.

I've 'completed' this at least 5 times now with out getting the challenge completion. I've tried to complete this before and after killing Sirus for the first time. I have also completed this at various awakened levels to no avail... I've just been grinding maps simply to do this challenge and can't get it completed. My last try was on December 29th, 2019. So, still not fixed.

I guess I'll try this on a new character. I hate having to coordinate with someone to try and get this dumb thing done.

i wish they reward it to people hit by this bug, but i fear i will have to try it again - hate it.

Never been hit by so many bugs in league (and im playing since beta).

I too have had this bug. Has nothing to do with Awakened level since I'm not yet full watchstones. I'm sure I activated all squares, waited around at the end and nothing happened.

Tried it two times now with every square lit and none stepped before and after his death.. No completion!
