What is a cap on various percentage mechanics?

Yep, all nods and gear resistances stack up to maximum. Which is important in Merciless where you need 135% resists to max out without use of max buffs.
Edit to resist post,Forgot Purity Aura and inner cluster.

Fire can reach about 102%+ if i remember with unique item and flask.

I thought somewhere a Dev said they capped resists at 95 no matter what, since they didnt want anyone being fully immune to anything for any reason.

youl have to link me that post cause chaos innoculation is kinda counter productive to that post if it true.

- Resist: base max 75%, with certain passive 81%, with resist flask 91%, with an unique for cold resist: 96%. Chaos resist can reach 100% with Chaos Inoculation
- Crit chance: 5%-95%
- Crit multiplier: no max, stack as much as you want.

- Item find (quantity): max around 200%, depends on unique/combination
- Magic find (rarity): many unique provide huge bonuses for this so i'm not sure. It should be about 400-500




Taken from the wiki (where you probably will find every information you need for PoE):

Theoretical Maximum
Default 75%
Ruby/Topaz/Sapphire Flask* +10%
Elemental Adaptation +5%
Saffell's Frame +5%
Purity (lvl 20) +4%
Inner Force applied to Purity +1.2%
Inner Force applied to Flask* +3%
Total 103.2%

*3.5-4.2 seconds for a specific element.
Unarmed for life! (although I do like maces too recently)
Just a note that while the theoretical maximum is 103.2, there is a hard cap at either 90 or 95 for resistances, i forget which.
