Yaaaaa, I was telling my wife about this when I saw the post. I'm like it doesn't really do anything to anyone already in the deeps but people who were struggling to get 500k-1 million damage it affects greatly. I mean if you know the fights, you can still do most of it flawless but will just take 2x-3x as long? So more time to mess up, or for shaper's or uber elder and whoever else gets introduced you have that soft fail where if it takes too long you will fail because of the balls/dots.
yep instead of adjusting each boss based on existing parameter they 4x every boss making some boss impossible

unless for well invested players who still will kill everything in 10 secs

all other players suffer, t16 boss on rare+corrupted is now impossible to beat

only .0001 players have the uber gear and millions dps to not care much, every other players suffer the 99.999% of player base

i am one of the 99.999, rip this game.
I don't see where is the issue, the game give you two hundred more options to break damages records on a budget compared to before. Same goes for defenses as far as I know, so yeah from 3 to 5 seconds shaper kill here we go.

Shaper was a joke, some red bests were more tanky, lmao.
Literally the laziest way imaginable to buff bosses.

Go into boss table, type in an extra '0', job done.

There are other ways to make bosses more difficult, dangerous, and challenging, but no one at GGG seems to have the least idea how, or if they do, it's seen as way too much work.

Pretty much.

My primordial jewel based ice golem build takes 2x longer to kill guardians and I've still got to min/max it a bit. So... 10-12 seconds now tops, depends on how quickly I drop storm brand on the bosses.

Meanwhile, the budget casuals and medium currency builds doing millions less in DPS are all in WTF mode.

The game is not really harder. All this nerf did was increase separation between top tier builds and everyone else.

And it is going to have the exact opposite effect. People are going to go more glass cannon to make up the difference. The game has become the robotron2084 of ARPGs.
