tested on Conservatory Map
have 100% crash on dx11 and none on vulcan (when Tane spawns)

maybe this will help you

While the idea makes sense because the error is indeed somewhere in DX11, the solution (or at least link you provided) does not.

d9vk is meant for linux while running games trough wine. I don't see how it woud help Windows users. Can you please clarify how did you made that work?

Wow. Never occurred to me this would actually work. The FPS suffers and games is choppy at places (due to translation), but it indeed prevents the crashes.

For others, just grab the d9vk-0.40.1.tar.gz package from relase on that page, and unpack the dlls into the Path of exile game directory.

Yeah, I found out they are providing DLLs which overrides DX calls and updated my post.

In any case, BIG thank you, sir. Finally first solution (or more like workaround) which works.

At least now the people will "feel" how the game runs on Linux (due to shader compiling hickups :D

Now if you excuse me, I have league to play.

If rumors are true, they will add auto pick up this week. Someone should inform them, about this topic here, else it´s GG for a huge amount of players.

They know about it, they even purchased the 5700 XT GPU.
At least we now have working workaround thanks to Svazzz.

However it is deadly workaround for HC players (due to translating code from DX11 -> Vulkan it introduces stuttering everytime there is something new going on the screen, but at least no crashes).

Good to know, thank you for informing! <3
Workaround (thanks to Svazzz):

Download dx->vulkan translation layer
https://github.com/Joshua-Ashton/d9vk/releases/download/0.40.1/d9vk-0.40.1.tar.gz

Unpack all files into Path of exile directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile or \Steam\steamapps\Path of exile (or whatever steam uses). Note, .tar.gz is native Linux archive format but almost any normal archive manager should be able to handle it.

Enjoy the crashless Tane

video proof on Old fields (I had 100% crash rate at this location before):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCdlDjO6tNM

To revert the workaround, simply delete the the copied files from the game directory.

nice good job people.
GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.

This is coming straight from the heart <3
