Crashes, 5700 XT AMD Issue?
5700 XT, Freesync monitor. At crash, screen goes black with "no input found". Forces a hard restart.

I take it no word yet on how the "testing" and "fix" is going?

These crashes are happening since they went DX11, it´s very typical for DX11. The video card becomes unresponsive, so Windows does crash the system to prevent further damage to the hardware.
In what, three years or so, GGG has not fixed that problem, if you did not encounter the crashes yet, consider yourself lucky, as many users has those problems since years, even though, not as often as now. It was only a matter of time for it to take over the game and become a huge issue for everyone as it happened now. GGG ignored it way too long, now the game is unplayable. GGG not adressing it, not even mentioning it in their "smoothest launch" announcement, is not nice to say the least. The fact that they had to buy an AMD card, is hillarious, as you would expect that a gaming company making millions a year, would already own AMD hardware to Q&A their game on. Harsh words, but seriously, they are more than justified and needed. |

A friend of mine and me are running identical hardware with identical drivers, I've not had a single crash while he can't play for longer than 30 minutes.
We're going to try mirroring my settings this evening on his machine and see what we can find. Hopeful to find a temp workaround. |

Have some issues here as well.
After about an hour of play time screen goes black and then "No input" on the monitor. Funny part, sound keeps playing through my headphones. From what I read most games on 5700 WITH DirectX 11 have same issues. I played several games on my new rig, only two crashed like this so far: PoE and MHWorld. Destiny 2 plays for several hours just fine, Doom 2016 had no issues as well (played for almost an hour). When I get home I'll check which DX all those games run on. My version: AMD has done f'd on several of the latest GPU drivers with regards to DX11 support. For reference, my build is as follows: R5 3600X, Sapphire RX5700 Pulse, Aorus B450 Pro, Viper RAM 2x 8Gb (16 total) at 3200Mhz (not sure if it performs at this rate, all settings in BIOS are in stock), PSU Thermaltake 700W RG, SSD and HDD are new as well (WD 500 and 2t respectively, game on HDD), AOC C24G1 monitor Last edited by VyersReaver#6330 on Dec 16, 2019, 4:40:38 AM

The problem seemed to have been fixed for me as I had no crashes at all yesterday but today it's hell again. Apart from the usual Tane crashes now I also experienced a crash on triggering a Breach encounter.
