Check out a new Ballista cluster on the Passive Skill Tree in 3.9.0!

Sorry if i missed the topic but i'm interested can anyone explain to me whether Point Blank has an effect on Balista?

TS will just have a higher opportunity cost, but it'll still be great you can count on it. it might just take more investment. sacrificing one stat here and there in order to get projectile speed.

using a non unique quiver and some choice crafts you can easily get 100% proj speed. im not sure how much it'll take, but im sure that'll be enough to clear a screens worth of enemies.


They wont even bother with that. TS + HH will be literally the same as it was. TS will be meta for another 5 years until GGG realise how broken this damn skill is.

Spectral Throw uses melee weapon. It doesnt matter if it doesnt have melee tag. The mines and traps works only with spells and ranged attacks (the ones that use either wand or bow)

they will have to bother with it. no sense in having 4 chains on tornado shot if the projectile disappears after 30 distance unit, or whatever the new value will be.
you'll need to stack projectile speed for the projectiles to actually stay alive long enough to have their full effect

so the maximum we can do is 9 with base 3 + 2 multi totem support + 1 shield/quiver + 1 soul mantle + 1 hierophant passive + 1 ancestral bond as far as we know?
totems suck, if you ask me they should be immune to stun/freeze/chill by default and have alot of tankiness. Just the fact that you have to play totems is already bad enough of a penalty.

There's 2 in the skill tree. One south from Duelist, one bottom right.
I'd say no real reason to go Hiero.
