300 Ping (Australia) and Failed to Connect to Instance Errors.

Hi,

I logged in today and I'm getting ten times the usual ping and can't log into any characters because of errors.

Hopefully this can be resolved by 3.9 launch day. pepeHands

Edit:
I power cycled the router and it seems to be back to normal.

Edit 2:

I may have been too quick to change it to solved.

Today I'm getting erratic latency jumping all over between 50 and 300.

There must be something going on with the network because a different hop is now ~200 ping.

No issues with D3 btw.

Looks like there is an ISP piring problem before reaching GGG servers.
GGG doesn't have any control over that.
A good, not just me then!

Been happening the last few days for me, suddenly up around 150-200 latency in a game making it unplayable.

Curiously though I get around 16 ping in my hideout but when I hit the map, instant lag.

Was fine early this morning. Absolute garbage again by this evening. Hope it's not TPG up to their old poor service tricks.

Hmm that sounds a bit strange.
Can you check your instance IP in your HO and make WInMTR report against that + check your instance IP when in lagging map and make WinMTR report against that?
same problem.

Same issue, seems like 50/50 chance that an instance will have normal 15 ping or terrible, spiky 150 ping. With TPG/Internode. Using VPN somewhat mitigates the poor performance. Not super concerned as servers are usually flawless for me, but hoping whatever the issue is will resolve!

Normal;

This has been affecting me since yesterday.

I have captured WinMTR stats for login, speed test, hideout and map instance.

Hope it helps...
Same behaviour again today. Logged on at 7 am and trouble free play with latency around 16.

Just jumped on at noon and back to crappy lag with the game so jerky I think it's practising it's crumping for the next season of "So you think you can dance".

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

In HO Latency - 70-180 ms

Apologies for the crappy layout. I've bolded the areas that are the problem. I've tried rebooting my modem but no benefit from that.

Afternoon update - same WINMTR results but now I can't connect to the Server. When I click try again, the game just gets stuck and does nothing. The little cogs on the screen keep turning but it just stays there... forever.

I also have been having random instance issues with some being fine but most of the time quite jumpy with ping. Brisbane AU

Here's my MTR pastebin.

I've tried powercycling the router to no benefit

https://pastebin.com/fgUx8JdX

Here's a town/hideout/map instance - 130.198.89.187

https://pastebin.com/8XyeFniV

Here's a more normal, River Ways instance I found that was more typical of my ping to the servers. - 168.1.82.196

https://pastebin.com/HB2CxfFr

I'm no wiz with networking, but looking at those logs, it seems like the hops at the telstra end are giving a little grief. Tell me if i'm wrong though.
