Yes, ggg knew the drops were bugged day one. Support acknowledged the drops were bugged. They were warned beforehand twitch drops could be bugged and to put some more fair system into place. Can you read?

An issue on twitch's end, that ggg knew about and covered up to keep people viewing the second day for a chance at something they were not eligible for due to bugs or whatever. Ggg is at fault as well

" "Keep people viewing" Do you ppl even read the garbage you are producing ?? Do you know what this stream even was about ? This behaviour is disgusting. (edit) Oh wait seems this lalala troll is just getting way too much attention making it seem a whole lot of gamers are being crazy again ... I fell for it. Guilty. I show myself out. " do you read the garbage you just produced? do you understand how twitch works? the amount of steady viewers you have on a two day huge promotional event stream is a big deal. Why? here let me put it very simply to you 1. lots of people watch certain twitch thing, it gets promoted to more people 2. lots of people watch certain twitch thing, lots of people see commercials/promotions in said twitch thing so yes, ggg pulled this to keep as many people watching for as long as possible. by taking the bait and watching the full stream, the poor souls that got nothing for doing so basically made ggg a bunch of money at the cost of their own time for absolutely nothing in return. and don't say "hurr durr you got to see what was coming in the stream" I literally do not care at all. poe 2 is like a year or more away, everything could be completely different by then. just like when d4 was announced with hardly any information at all about anything that actually mattered (skill tree) and fanboys ate it up and got hyped. hard simple truth is that a lot of people were watching to get loot they otherwise would not have gotten. the end |

" I've asked in here before and never got a clear answer, what was GGG supposed to do to combat an error on twitch's end? If they put a disclaimer saying that twitch drops are bugged and some account just won't get anything would that really have prevented people from watching? You don't know if your account is bugged or not, so people still would have viewed for their chance at a free mtx. For what it's worth most people who are familiar with twitch drops such as yourself already knew there was an issue with them, but were still fine viewing both days anyways. I've seen the suggestions that GGG should have just given a free MTX for anyone who logged on during exilecon, but then that defeats the purpose of having free MTX's be the incentive for watching their twitch stream right? Should they have just not done the promotion at all? Then we could get a hundred threads complaining about how it's not fair that GGG didn't want to share this moment with their player base, and were only giving free things to those lucky enough to be able to go to the con live. Bottom line is there was a bug outside of their control(not even their bug), no one was promised or guaranteed to get a drop from watching every second of Exilecon so in the end GGG owes you nothing, and they scammed you out of nothing. You yourself clearly knew about the issue going into it, yet still decided to view the stream and then want to cry about it after the fact. For what it's worth GGG seems to being going back and giving the rewards to some anyways, or the twitch drop system is incredibly behind and just now catching up. Had a couple of people in my guild say they woke up this morning with twitch drops. |

Now...
Lots of people got this well deserved free Mtx (just look at the forum). Lots of people are still getting them. [Removed by Support] Now, what's the purpose of this post again? I mean what you're looking for? The head of Chris Wilson? Free Mtx for a month for everyone who didn't get twitch drops? People disintalling Poe? Dunno, starting a new kind of Scientology where you two will be the emperors of the world? Attentions? Seriously, what are you guys looking for? " Lol, good job fucking up one of the biggest arguments you guys have been using. That's the original post someone used to claim they knew, and it's not about drops, why would someone mention days before hand that they weren't getting drops? And they didn't mention at all in there anything about drops, and they apologized for any inconveniences it may have caused. That had something to do with the stream itself. Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.
