" it wasn't just rng. support acknowledged on day 1 that the twitch drops were bugged. a lot of people weren't even considered eligible that should have been. if you got drops, and you think everything is fine, then cool. but stfu saying nothing was broken, it was bad luck etc. it entirely was not. and ggg manipulated the playerbase by not being open about all of this as soon as they realized it was bugged. the amount of money ggg made off of the people hoping to get something for 15 hours of stream watching is more than enough to just give everyone something at this point. |
|
" So ppl who watched only Saturday and perfectly eligible to have a chance to drop might be totally screwed? I watched only Saturday (haven't seen only first 10 min with Einhar and logged right into PoE2 announcement but watched the whole thing ... even the lady in Einhar suit with gross voice...) |

The drops they are sending is a damage check, twitch was the problem.
I unlinked at the end of the 2 day after 18 hours watching the whole exilecon, I linked it again and after 15 minutes they gave me a drop. What I do not see fair is that it seems they are distributing drops without having a sense of how to do it and almost all are packs. Twitch must have a record of who were connected 18 hours in a row and who were not and according to that distribute the drops. Having to unlink or not due to Twitch errors is not a problem of the users but of the system, with which all users must be respected equally. In this sense people like me did not count the entire 19 hours that if they were seeing the exilecon. Last edited by Hellshout#6962 on Nov 18, 2019, 12:35:14 PM

I don't care if they are doing damage control or whatever as long as everyone who had their accounts linked properly and stuff were tracked and eligible. I made sure my account was linked, i've gotten drops from other streams in the past(Not GGG) and my status was green and it said drops enabled the whole time both days I tuned in. I typed in chat occasionally also.
0 drop gang still! |

if there IS an actual "backlog" with all the rewards people should have gotten, why can nobody at ggg look up a specific account in it. i got this from support:
" if there is a backlog is should be within the realm of possibility to check for a specific account |
|
" There were over 100k people viewing, GGG only employs something like 150 people. Even if there is a way for them to go back and check the backlog there time and resources I'm sure are better used elsewhere. If your rewards are back logged you will still get them. Do you really need GGG to tell you it's coming or not? |
|
" i guess now people are entitled for wanting to know if they were effected by the bug, or if the magical "backlog" they claim exist even has anything connected to their account? seriously this is the shittiest twitch promotion i have ever seen and ive NEVER had problems with twitch promotions on any other game except this one |
|
" Of course, that is what I wanted to say, that if everything works with other companies because it seems that the mistake was with the exilcon |

After watching Exilecon with my Twitch, I changed my Twitch's username. Do Twitch and GGG know my new username and send gift to me?? :( watch full 2days but still 0 gift...
