But I agree with the above, that this was a really bad move from GGG, not caring about fans enough to get straight and preferring viewer numbers.
I planned to buy some more points to get some MTX but I think I will not.

That is why i made thread about the future of MTX and regarding twitch Drops.

This totally backfired on GGG, even though it was Twich fault. I don't really care about the drop, but this has definitely not been handled very professionally.

They are never getting that many viewers for that long ever again. It is a shame this happened as this the biggest marketing event for GGG ever.

Now everyone is just talking about drop scams and that is what people will remember the most from the event :-(

Alot of people wasted alot of time for nothing at all, and ggg could easily just give everyone who watched with a linked account some random mtx, but they would rather the rng bullshit

Nothing at all ? Like watching them reveal poe2 and 3.9 was for nothing at all ?

Chances are the drop you get is a silly little pet you'll probably never use.

Most and by most i mean like 95% of people that care about poe at all were going to watch a mathil or ziggyd video on the event and changes and maybe some trailers. This scam got people to watch 15 hours+ when they otherwise would have spent maybe 20minutes. Yes for a free mtx, to remember this specific promotion by which ggg made seem so obtainable by anybody by how they worded things. This was slimy

Finally received 1 & it's a bundle, so I'm thankful in the end.



For reference, just to put it out there, don't know if it will matter.
- I only have the "twitch prime drop" eligibility & no regular "twitch drop".
But there's the "Drop-enabled" tag at the bottom of the my twitch screen.

- I watched from the start but mostly I actually only watched the actual announcement & deep panel, the rest & day 2 just afk. During afk, sometimes my status turn yellow (away) when I got back to the tab & I just refresh it.


So for everyone else who not received anything yet, there's still hope. It might just got bugged down too.

15 hours watched here, still nothing. At this point it feels like damage control seeing screenshots of the ultra rare bundles being gifted out

At this point i dont even think there is a backlog, they are just randomly sending accounts stuff as damage control. Feels shitty to say but this whole situation just feels bad and slimy
