Twitch Drops
" I think people trusted this statement : "it would take an average of 5.5 hours of view time to receive a Twitch Drop reward" - Natalia_GGG 2019 |

You know, the only thing that sucks is that the Exile con itself was AMAZING, even though not everyone agrees with everything, I feel like the anouncements were insane. But the longest thread in General discussion is about Drops because people feel cheated.
I don't really care that I didn't get any, maybe there Was a problem, maybe I was just unlucky, I don't care that much. It just leaves a bad aftertaste that after an amazing first exilecon with great anouncements, there are so many people unhappy. Would habe been better to never anounce drops in the first place or just not talk about the probabilities. But that's hindsight 10/10 as always. I gave it another try and watched maybe 10-11 hrs of streams passively, across two days.
-I have no Twitch prime. Doesnt matter as explained in Announcement. -Most of time with browser tab mute. -Background while playing other games -Never watched at my Twitch status (green/yellow/etc) -Refreshed the stream a few times. Because F. ![]() Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks |

" I mean sure, average. Someone could get within 15minutes, someone never. It was a terrible fail on the first day but that's apparently twitch end which doesn't really surprise me. They kinda have a history of this. And they're going through backlog of winners that didn't get the reward for reason or another. Could take a while until all are handed out. |

"Hey.
There was a delay in the issue of prizes. The stock worked, but there were problems with the issue. We currently have 137,000 winners, so far we have given out only 16,000 prizes. Issuance will take some time, but if you win a prize, it will certainly come to your account." That said Ggg Natalia in RU thread so be patients for 1-2 days |

Big companies shouldn't scam their fanbase for twitch views they knew they would not have otherwise gotten. This is pure and simple manipulation. There are screenshots from the first day showing support acknowledging that the twitch drops are bugged. Instead of being clear with the community about issues, they instead doubled down and said the droprate was "doubled" because they knew people caught on to the scam and would not watch if they knew they weren't getting anything.
Alot of people wasted alot of time for nothing at all, and ggg could easily just give everyone who watched with a linked account some random mtx, but they would rather the rng bullshit |

This was a poor way to get a better temporary ranking on Twitch. 2 days logged and nothing. What a waste of time. It seems you either got items raining or nothing, pointing to bug. Why am I not surprised though, as everything they do anymore is half-assed with no QA.

" Well, it works like this. On first roll you have 98.5% chance to get nothing. After 10 minutes you have 97,1% chance to not get anything. After third roll you have 95.6% chance to not get anything. After Day 1 if watched all times you have ~20% chance to not get anything. After Day 2 youhave roughly 1% chance to not get anything. |
