Listen, if 3.9 - 3.12 (or whatever the fuck it will end up being) are as bad as 3.8, then it wont even matter by then.
PoE is not trending in the right direction, like at all. The power creep, the loot boxes, absurd mtx's, old engine, stale content, serious technical issues and limitations, trade system nightmare, ...its really bad. And 4.0 will be a savior? Yeah sure. Personally I finally picked up Path of Diablo and am having a blast. We'll see if 3.9 brings me back to PoE but for now I'd be good playing this actual balanced non-faceroll no-rmt Diablo 2 mod until PoE 4.0 comes out.
I do expect to play and enjoy 4.0 at least, but we need good challenge leagues in the meanwhile. Blight was bad and I only stuck with it as long as I did because of my first-ever built-from-scratch build which I made a build guide for. |

" I roped my friend with a potato PC into playing Path of Diablo with me last year and we had an absolute blast. (Don't often get the chance to play games with him.) Can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who originally came from the D2 playerbase. Souls along a conduit of blood, from one vessel to the next.

I would expect D4 out for either Xmass 2021 or Summer 2022.
What they showed as demo of the game was basically reskinned D3 and nothing else. Don't know why are people hyped about it. Since 4.0 "could" be released for winter 2020 (but I think last mentioned was spring 2021) it is unlikely that there will be any collision I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Well I just started ANOTHER toon last night, so it's pretty safe to say I am in for 3.9.
My heart got all buttered up and melted with all the D4 goodness, but I'll wait to see what POE shows us in 11 days. IDK, I've been able to play 2 games before, it's not impossible. I just KNOW these 2 companies fighting each other is a WIN for us! Either way I'll be happy :) I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
