...Oh yes,Arc...that's it.I forget the names...the spell with the flame skulls has been a longtime favorite as well.In the case of this enemy,it runs right to your character,has a spell rotating around it's torso,not knives,something else...you would need extremely high run percentage to even avoid it,it is very fast.Again,haven't seen it since I eventually managed to get to the rooftop gate without being caught.Personally,I think it was a glitch.

You're writing the problem right here.
Fix this
ALL ELEMENTAL resistances to 75% AT LEAST, as soon as you can.
Act2 is great, but end of act 3 for sure.
And 300 life per act, if in act 5 then 1500 life/es MINIMUM.
And you are probably talking about a rouge exile.
I don't know of a pre boss for Kitava, but if you are on the rooftop, this is where you are heading.
And if your resistances are 30%, you are heading to certain doom.
75% is not a suggestion, it is mandatory.
My witch is at 135% and I am going to scale back to 100-110% for elemental weakness maps.
Chaos Res, stay around zero and bring an Atziris flask.
Nobody hits too hard with chaos so having it a little above zero is a good tactic.
After all of this, you can decide how to handle those juicy 5000HP physical hits you will be taking often.
Will you evade them?
Will you tank them with armor?
Will you tank them with health pool?

Share your character if you want real help, you are not being to clear with your references to things that have actual names in game.
Top left of screen, click your loged in as name. Mid right of next screen click privacy. then unhide characters.

And Arc is perfect for cold/fire minions... if you are using Elemental Equilibrium.

Will try to remedy this.Starting another one would be easy,only been on the current one for a week or so and already in part 2.I practically have the maps memorised and know the progression and directions to them.
I haven't stopped to grind much,and have focused only on lightning and minion items on the tree.
Having raise spectre(x2)with the bat-wing creature from the rooftop,that fires red rings at the enemy,makes up for a lot of work.They've been through several bosses without damage,unlike other minions.
Elemental resistance has taken 2nd place to replenish life(if that is the name)in this build,which has determined the outfit worn.Not certain about energy shield as opposed to actual armor...it seems to drain off the same no matter how much I've had.
Really...I'm just in the basic level of the game where you can die a thousand deaths and it doesn't matter,you aren't penalised by any measure except having to try again from near the same spot.
It appears that the forum is logged into an old Email account that I no longer use.It must be a few years old by now,lol.
Sorry about not knowing the name of my spectres,I didn't stop to ask.
Of course,creating a new witch on the current account allows it access to all of the saved items of the previous one...and since the library is open and I found all the pages to the old man's book,and I have dozens of currency items...basically I can just outfit the new one using the old one to scout out items.

Wait! First I thought Decard Cain, then I thought Shaper... Now I see clearly! You are in the library and talking about Siosa.
So you must be fighting Dominus, ahhhhhh that explains much.
Your lightning resistance is shit. PERIOD.
He will vaporize you easily at 30% lightning resistance.
Also when the corrupted blood rain starts, you must run to the boss, he has a shield. So you will have to get close and personal if you cannot kill him quickly.

This is Wrecker of Days slomo zombie build.
It is easy and effortless, just cap your resists and put items in slots and the zombies/skeletons will do all the work. TOTALLY effortless, and you might even learn a thing or 2 :)

Those are Kitavas Heralds and yes they are awesome! Full Physical, even the balls are physical, good choice.
In my minion build I am using zombies and have apes for specters that generate power and frenzy charges for my zombies. I highly suggest you take a look at the link I provided, it is a super fun build and one the best noob friendly builds around. I would put it right with Enki's arc witch.
Oh and a final spoiler: If you max your resistance, you WILL live a lot longer! Your dying because you are taking up to quadruple damage.
Just trust me and get your resistances capped.

Also as a new... or returning player, I would advise you to play in the trade league, it's cheaper and people will actually accept your offers of alchemy orbs. Plus Blight is fun and can be skipped if it's not. Everything rolls to Standard at league end anyways, so nothing to lose :)
Oh yes, if you like specters, you can hold down A on corpses and it will tell you what you are about to summon. This REALLY helps when you are digging through a pile of bodies :) Good Luck!
Lore: Dominus was the Final game boss in the beginning. They love him so left him strong... unless you know what you are doing, but even then THE TOUCH OF GOD kills everyone at one time or another (he got me in a map just yesterday). He is your first gear check, lightning resist to 75% is the first lesson in this game. And find a bleed immunity flask is his phase 2 lesson.

I think you misunderstood...my previous witch I took to level 53?...with it I already opened the library...in fact went to part 6,but made a lot of mistakes by not focusing on resistances.

The puzzle game was my lack of memory,lol...I put the POE wiki on standby to help with the names.

I started that one about 2 weeks ago after not having played for a couple of years.

I saved every ring and a lot of gems,plus some gear that had good socket arrangements...I started a new witch a few days ago,It has access to all of the items of the previous one.

The new witch is up to level 28,resistances are fire,77%...cold,49%...lightning,53% and chaos,15%.I had to make a trade off of cold and lightning for the chaos,which came on a pendant I was saving.I have so much life regen that it seems to always be full...and a lot of "all attributes" advances as well.

Early on,using the previous witch to shop the library,I equipped the new one with plenty of minions.I equipped Purifying Flame this time around with Herald of Thunder,which has raise fantasm.There is a lot of residual cold attack added from equipment as well.

I haven't died once,just starting part 3.

All gear except my shoes so far has 3 blue sockets,all chained...each minion type has its own section with two added supports...all have raise fantasm and minion attack +35%...otherwise I have a fire totem on the shoes with an area of effect for support.

Currently running 6 zombies,holy relic and raging spirit...I hardly need to get involved as they clear the way.

All gear including the wand are rare or better,easily done very early on using the consumable you mentioned from the stores of the last witch.

I will need to log in with the current Email,1975monza is ancient history,it doesn't recognise my new characters,so I can't show their details.

Hopefully when you review the new character,"Fifthwitch"...your assessment will improve.Thanks for the suggestions.
