As long as you are holding mouse-right click and leeching life from enemies, you are invincible. I know there are so many great frost blades builds already out there, for example, Fiver's Raider version. (which I like a lot!) I hardly make meta-builds that are already published by others but, this time, some of my newbie viewers desperately wanted me to make one, saying, "I want frost blades build that doesn't need a lot of complicated key pushing and control." That's why I started working on this build, and made it work within one day. Most of time, all you need to do is, Hold Mouse-Right button and drink all flasks, PERIOD. Also, I personally think what Berserker is all about is crazy attack speed and crazy tankiness from the attack speed. I adopted popular ehp non-stop leech mechanic in order to achieve this, and it works perfect in this build. One of the great strengths this build has is, it is very easy to farm deep delve. You won't be killed by monsters and other annoying things as long as you are attacking monsters. <Item> 1. Watcher's eye does not have to be same as mine. All you need is one mod that increases dps, including add cold dmg / increased cold dmg / cold dmg penetration / increased critical strike chance while hatred, increased attack dmg / increased critical strike multiplier / increased attack speed while precision. You look for a cheapest WE jewel with one of the mods above and wear it. (don't spend too much for watcher's eye and keep it under 1 ex budget) Or, If you don't have enough currencies, just buy rare jewel with 7% life and 8% energy shield. What you need from jewel is ehp, not attack dmg related mod. 2. Soul tether belt with implicit mod like mine is 40 ~ 100 chaos. If you don't have enough currencies, just ignore the mod and buy a plain one. Or, test your luck by vaal orbing 5 or 6 soul tether belts like me. 3. As for Flasks, knock back from lion's loar is sometime annoying since you have to chase a monster that does not be killed by one-shot, and while chasing you cannot leech ehp. This is annoying when you run blight maps. Since +3000 armor is too sweet to abandon, use Atziri's Promise when you do blight maps only. 4. My rare claw is crafted by myself. It generates same amount of dps as 400 pdps claw. This means that you don't need to look for the same rare claw like mine, which is hard to find. Just look for either 400 pdps claw with critical chance mod, or craft one or like mine by yourself. It is important that a rare claw must have "% Increased Critical Chance" mod. This makes you obtain blitz charge easily and in the end have crazy attack speed = ehp leech. <Gem> 1. You can switch ancestral call to melee physical damage for greater dps when you kill a boss with a lot of hp such as minotauer, shaper...etc. 2. Do not lvl up precision, otherwise you will face mana problem. lvl 1 is enough for precision. Budget

Hi, Durimon. I like your build. In fact, i am trying it out right now. However, there are 2 skills gem which i don't understand in this build. First it's Skitterbots. Second is Withering step.
For skitterbots, i know they can freeze target.but that's all i could get from the gem description. There are other gems like Herald of Ice which directly adds cold damage. I am not trying to argue which gem is better than other. i am just trying to get your point of using skitterbotts. For Withering step, what will be a good situation to use it? since i use whirling blade as a movement skill, i hardly find the chance to use withering step. but i am only lvl 38 right now. Again, i am not saying withering step is a uselessly skill. since i am new player, i just dont understand tne usage of the skill. | |
" Hi, thanks for your comment. 1. skitter bots not only chill enemies but also shock them. It has aura effect which covers 30 unit wide, so it helps you kill bosses and blight map bosses much faster than herald of ice. As you lvl up, you won't have to worry about killing monsters in a map because one or two shots will do all for them. The problem is bosses. Skitter bot is for that. 2. Withering step is good to use when you are surrounded by many monsters. It makes you walk "through" bunch of monsters that hinders you to go forward. |
