You can fix missing elemental resistances with purity aura eventually.
You need to use your crafting benches and all crafting methods available as SSF player.
As mentioned before you need to change more items at once (do it once you get them).
Pick up decent bases - white items with good item level -- ilvl 72 is fine for the second best resistance tier and use alchemy or essences etc to roll them.

an example:
You need to roll boots with lightning resistance:
Use Screaming Essence of Wrath to roll +(36–41)% to Lightning Resistance.
With a bit of luck you will roll either life or movement speed (and other stats eventually).
Let say you hit 30% movement speed so you can finish the craft with life roll (using crafting bench) etc.
If you need lots of lightning resistance on ring use "Topaz ring base" and finish the craft with lightning resistance using crafting bench (or if you are lucky with light res roll with whatever) etc.

About tree:
First of all you need to choose what build you are aiming for.
Pure physical or Elemental based and adapt tree/gear then.

As mentioned above play with Path of Building a bit (you can try whatever you like before changing it in game).

I droped some damage nodes but got 700 life more (without changing any gear) and allocate Point Blank for an extra boss damage.
You can allocate more life later on (Thick Skin)

*just missing 10 intel you can allocate or get from gear.

If you change gems / tree / ascendancy points as mentioned before your DPS will skyrocket anyway.

Unfortunately cant download PoB - not working for some reason. I use an old browser for work purposes & clashes with a lot.

Any ideas which other 5 nodes I can remove without gimping my dps too much?

Only vaal gems you have several copies of. If you only have one copy of a gem don't vaal it. It's a higher chance of failure than getting anything beneficial out of it.

You can ask in PoB thread about your problem eventually.

I reworked the PoB tree to fit the web but you can´t see benefits or gear then (spent two more passives but with Point Blank)


I did different pathing but you can remove minor damage nodes (20% crit chance), Mind Drinker (allocate 0.4 mana leech instead) or drop some minor damage/accuracy nodes (you have 100% chance to hit anyway).
You need to sacrifice some damage nodes for more life passives to survive a bit longer.
But as mentioned before your DPS is rather limited by your gem setup / gear choices.
