Tbf, they kinda have to make them like that. Cos they don't look comically oversized in-game - unless you zoom in, which isn't how people play. Same reason why there aren't any accessory mtxes (ones that change the look of the jewellery themselves) - cos we just wouldn't be able to make them out from our usual perspective.

When will we get items with cool design like these by default, instead of having to buy gear skins, so that our character won't look like a pile of turd?

A pity the guard of the sword is bend the wrong way.
It would be nice if designer knew a bit of weapon ergonomy.

Different strokes, man.

I find that quite small swords like Ichimonji or Corsair sabres actually look just fine and proportional and much better than most "regular" (huge) swords, even when a character is using bulky armour. Most rapiers are fine too, because being a bit overlong in that case doesn't seem out of place.

When you're zoomed out what you usually see is the skill effect and not the weapon itself anyway.

Regardless, there's nothing wrong with a little variation. If we can have a boatload of huge swords, surely there's room for even a couple small ones?
