Well, my point is that, I have looked at all the people's here, and I can't seem to figure out how you guys are so much more dps than me without buying gg items or maybe it is because I failed in my config (which I am not keen on editing properly). Which is why I am asking if people with better PoB experience than me can look at mine and tinker with it or tell me if there is anything I am doing wrong pob-wise. Or if all my dps issues is with gearing, in which case what should I be focusing on since I have plugged your guys' weapons and gloves in (the two places I feel I am lacking, and the dps doesn't increase that much more.

So I am completely at a loss for obvious upgrades.

EDIT: I noticed that slapping a +4 Shavronne on is like a 70%+ dps boost, and that's not something I can do right away but can be on the agenda, for sure. But even so, that is like a 1 mil dps jump.
How are you guys configuring it to get to like 8mil???

Using 2 large cluster jewels help a lot with DPS, as well as slotting cobalt jewels with emphasis on spell damage, DoT etc instead of area damage. I would remove the Thread of Hope in the middle to spend points on the second large cluster jewel instead.

You can also take the remaining node for 6% increased effect of non curse auras.

Shavs +2 is more than enough if you're on a budget, and POB says that +1 (socketed gems) +2 shavs has much better overall DPS improvement compared to +2 +2.

My wand is also +1 +1, but I think some of the higher DPS with only +1 has good DoT numbers.

Other than that it's a matter of using megalomaniacs for more effect of curse or more reservation of mana.

I think the vets can give you better tips as this is my first cold dot build, and I'm playing in standard which makes a lot of the items pricier.

Excellent point about weapons. I always value % dot multi very highly. This wand I crafted have 5% more DPS than a "standard +2 gem level with crafted %spell dmg and 20% cold dot multi". And at my current gear level it translates to 500k dps. And I believe it's cheaper to craft too because I just slam shrieking essence of woe (I used about 50 of them) on it for a +1 cold gem and the base was 1.5ex. It not hard to get because the fractured mod is a suffix as compared to trying to do this with a fractured +1 spell/cold.

I edited your POB a bit and added some items (cluster jewel and cobalt jewel), Shavs +2, you do have 5 frenzy charges, and moved the passives here and there. In all you should have around 5m DPS, without +2 shavs you still have around 4m.

Ultimately it's up to you if you want to spend a bit for the cluster and cobalt jewels. They're not that expensive in league compared to standard, and moving points around do help a bit.

@Hadc: Thanks for explaining weapons as well! I was having trouble buying them and went with +1 and Spider (although can't fit this on).

Might have to save up and work for a better dot multi wand!!

I meant 3 frenzy charges. Sorry for the typo.

If you do look at some of the POBs here it's mostly cluster jewels and also the weapon that is scaling the damage.
