Fated connections proc 5-link

Hi, today I spent 3.9ex and bought a fated connections from trade. I then proceeded to vorici bench craft my 5-link 6 socket body armour that I wanted to 6 link to reduce the number of sockets. After that, I right clicked the prophecy and used 1 jewellers orb on my body armour. The body armour then became 5 link 5 socket and my prophecy proc-ed and disappear from navali. Please fix this bug. I am very frustrated as 4 ex was everything I had. Can someone see to this issue please?

This means that you have to spam jewlers on the item until you roll 6 sockets witch will then be linked. |

I don’t understand the above post. How could he “do it wrong” when he used a jeweler’s orb?
But back to the original post, you had the wrong prophecy. You did not have fated connections. You had jeweler’s touch, which does exactly what you said happened. If you traded for it they may have given you the wrong one on purpose. Or maybe you still have fated connections in your list. The one that was removed was jeweler’s touch though. " Because he first went to the crafting bench and made the item 6S. That is not how "fated connections" work. The item has to be less then 6S and then you manually have to spam jewlers on it until it 6S --> will also be 6L. |

Read it again. It already had 6 sockets. He went to the bench to reduce the number of sockets so a jeweler’s orb could be used.

" Yep, I stand corrected. Misread his post. Then @Neohongkong is right. He got scammed when he bought the prophecy and got The Jeweller's Touch and not fated connections. Sorry @OP. No bug here but you got scammed by seller. I would guess that the first trade windows got "cancled" by seller and then the next one he "accepted". I don't understand, If you bought a fated connections prophecy, why would you use 1 jewellers orb on your already 6 socketed body armour?

He didn't (but glad to see I am not the only one that misread his post). He went to the crafting bench first and reduced the sockets on the item, then used a jelwers on it.
Problem is, that it's 99% sure that he got scammed buy the seller of the prophecy and therefor got the wrong prophecy. |

Since he knew he had to lower the number of sockets to use the prophecy, he had to know what the prophecy said it did. So it’s hard to believe he did not know which prophecy he had.
