Congratulations, you just did a better job naming this item than someone paid to do so. And you probably took a lot less time doing so. I wonder if design-by-committee has kicked in with PoE yet. 'Convoking Wand' sure seems like the result of conflicting ideas struggling to coalesce by way of an overcooked brainstorming session in Meeting Room 3. Long story short: gerunds for affixes only, TencentGGG. edit: Okay, so I just remembered one base item with a gerund in its name: Grinning Fetish -- but that gerund isn't exactly functional, is it? You don't start grinning when you use it or anything. Sounds like the functional placeholder name you give to something while its in development, so that everyone remembers what it's supposed to do and then gets renamed later. I completely agree, but having a little added base damage offset by lowered overall damage multiplier and some nice utilize secondary skills like what melee got would really make the bow user experince much nicer during the 1-70 process. I can't tell if your arguing that its a good thing or that it doesn't matter lol, I guess it doesn't really matter except they are drawing attention to it and will then gut it later. Summoners were stupidly OP for years now, it was just never meta enough to actually nerf it (and I doubt it will be this league.
