Impale and Bleed for Phys Spells

If poison works for phys spells like ethereal knives, bear trap or blade vortex, impale and bleed should work too. There should be any advantage for pure phys spells.

Item mods on weapon or amulets where u can get 20%ele dmg as extra chaos dmg with eternity shroud where u can get up to 50%ele dmg as extra chaos and 100% chaos Penetration is way to op. There should also be increased impale effect on amulets or weapon.

Impale is fine. We just now got Pure Phys Melee in a good enough place to finally compete with elemental conversion and ranged/casters. And its plenty strong enough already without just adding even more Effect.

And Phys Spells are PLENTY strong enough. Everything doesn't need to be able to use everything.
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.

Impale is fine for cyclone and bladeflurry because of the high aps to get max impale stacks really fast but for other melee skills its not that good.
Impale: ABSOLUTELY NOT. Blade Vortex does NOT need help being OP, literally doubling the damage would take us back to the Prophecy League days of "all of your builds are BV or you are wrong."

Bleed isn't a bad idea, but there aren't really any physical spells that would take full advantage of it (yet) because Bleed works best with slow, massive hits. If there was a no-conversion version of Divine Ire or something, sure? But it kinda feels like there's not really a reason to WANT bleeding on your spells right now.

impale doesent work with elemental Damage, im speaking of going pure phys to give new build ideas instead of stacking phys as extra ele/ele as extra chaos dmg on every build.

with crimson dance where bleed can stack up to 8 times and the upcoming buffs for ailment damage on 3.8 it should maybe work
What we had with poison before wasn't a good idea, it was huge payoff for very low investment so it was a must for every physical and chaos build that wasn't ED. Elemental conversion is bullshit too, a lot of mechanics in the game could use a balancing pass.

Impale should instead be dissolved into parts and relocated to the bottom left part of the tree, it should remain strong but require investment to work.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

and it should not, under any circumstances, work with bows..

you think Cyclone + Impale is strong? Try Tornado Shot Impale Slayer. it is OBSCENE for the investment

It's quite ok for slower attackers too. It's in effect when it's needed the most. Against tough monsters.
pulls out the disintegrator
equips random phys spell

so you need 7-9 skillpoints investment, 1 support gem and 10% mana reserved for 110% increased impale effect + 100% Chance to impale. for my build i get for 8 skillpoints +~20% dmg, for another skill gem +30% dmg and warbanner for dread banner +~10%dmg = 60% more dmg.

so i need to get 8 hits with impale to outvalue this. 100+121+142+163+184+205+205+205 : 8 = 165,6% more dmg after 8 hits. without being a zerker or using cyclone you need to stack alot of attack speed to be make it useful.

i didnt mean phys spells who get ele convert like divine ire or wave of conviction, i mean spells like bladefall, bladevortex, ethereal knives, bear trap, seismic trap, unearth and shockwave totem to give them any advantage for going full phys by giving them the abilty to function with impale and bleed to compete with elemental dmg builds.
