I believe the consensual average is 1200-1500 fusings to 6L a 20% quality item. But it's just RNG so it may take 1 or it may take 20k.

Note that the part on crafting bench (Vorici) is outdated. Nowadays those recipes are gained from exploring Delve.

And the 3-4 links are trivial. Every beginner can grab them almost as soon as you start delving. The 5 recipes take a little more work but not too much.

The 6 recipes take some time and focus. (Maybe not for veterans, but I'm assuming anyone learning from this thread is a beginner, and the 6 are not trivial for a beginner. But then collecting 1500 fuses to use the 6L is also not trivial...)
