Greater Rifts in POE?

Maybe greater rifts are not the best idea for poe but there need to be a good endgame content with better loot where its worth theorycrafting the max out of your damage and defence. There is no point when defeating the uber elder to get better gear. the only motivation for me is to try out new build ideas.

There should be when u defeat the uber elder you unlock a new difficulty mode where the maps became +16 Tier higher and u have to clear the atlas again, so the t1 maps became t17 and on this mode u can find more valuable items. But there need also alot of balance changes made.

I thought we got delve to prove ourselves. Challenging never ending stuff with ranks.

Delve is tedious and boring af. I went down to ~300 last league and although it would be nice to get the maps from cities I really couldn't be arsed to do it again in Legion. I'd rather go Glacier farming, that would yield more currency and is probably easier to sustain than the stupid sulphite.

Well, doing GRifts in D3 past lvl 70 is also tedious and boring af.
WhatŠ your point? Go down to 600+ to get some challenge &/or difficulty.

Delve is the closest mechanic to rifts and if you consider delve already bad, how can you think they will add some other "map like" feature with unlimited scaling locked behind some "token" to go grind.

The fact that Glacier is so great for farming is another GGG screwup since Bridge farming for Research Lab in Betrayal.

The End-Game content is really boring for me, u have beaten uber-elder and there is nothing much to do, besides delve and, but i think that the delve system is really boring.

Would love to fight against big monster waves and Bosses that get stronger everytime, to break highscrores, maybe with a 4 people group or something, instead of running down a mine and farm allday sulphite before u can go back.

man i would have loved to see a real endless dungeon, like delve unchained.
but nah, would be to much fun to spin to win till you die
Actually i take it back. In the early race seasons, there was already a race type that had "going deep" into dungeon and every layer had additional level of difficulty, and every layer had area of a size of current maps. Not just endless Ledge, but i do not recall the race format name. But basically Oba's Cursed Trove in a league format.

Anyway, it depends on the goal what content such as this would achieve?
- Speed run rankings per layer? Ok, might be interesting to get full clear ranks, but the rewards would ahve to be meaningless as it additionally shifts the meta towards one specific build type
- Depth scaling? Ye that does not bring much above Delves.

No point in having something like GRift, really.

I can see why he wants something where the only cost of entry is a static key, because delve sulphite costs get pretty ridiculous VERY quickly. In legion I'm around depth 270ish and it's already costing me 2k+ sulphite per attempt and in a t16 map fully juiced with a scarab I'm getting maybe 6k sulphite.

Descent and Descent Champions.

If you manage to kill uber elder you have practically finished the game. No point in endlessly extending the game. At that point you should reroll another character.

Unless Legion has an unusually high delve cost (which it should not), then no, not all nodes around 270 cost over 2k Sulphite, far from it.
The long ones ? Yeah, but you get a lot of xp / loot in those too.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

I never played D3 so I have no idea how it compares but I trust your judgement.

My point is that Delve is one of the most tedious and unrewarding bullshit in the whole game and the only thing you prove with a high (low?) Delve level is how much of a no-lifer you are.

So, no thanks. Going to ~300 in Synthesis was enough Delve for life for me.

Of course it is. It's the same crap, but I'd still rather do that than delve.
